Trump’s granddaughter Kai attended the Ryder Cup with the former President and detailed her experience in a YouTube video, claiming that spending time with her grandfather meant everything

Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, made her first appearance at the Ryder Cup this year, describing it as “special” to be at Bethpage Black with the U.S. President.
Trump graced the opening day of the Ryder Cup tournament with his presence, making a grand entrance alongside Kai. The 18 year old is a passionate golfer who often hits the greens with Trump and creates content with other pros and personalities. She was also given a custom-made Team USA Whoop.
Kai has teed off with Bryson DeChambeau on multiple occasions and frequently shares golf-related content on her popular YouTube channel. She had never attended the Ryder Cup before, but in a recent video featuring President Trump, she shared her experiences as Team Europe won the 2025 edition of the tournament.

President Trump made several appearances in Kai’s latest YouTube video, which runs nearly 30 minutes. The video documents Trump’s journey on Air Force One to the Ryder Cup, his interactions with the players, and time spent in the Oval Office.
Despite her privileged upbringing, Kai has earned a reputation for humility and expressed during the video that spending time with her grandfather was invaluable. “I’ve always wanted to experience it (Ryder Cup), but getting to go with my Grandpa made it even more special,” she said, reports the Mirror US.
“I had the best time getting to attend the Ryder Cup for the first time. This has been a dream of mine for so long, and it was even better than I expected. I always love coming to visit and getting to spend quality time with him.”

Kai then looked back on her day in the Oval Office and started comparing the Ryder Cup to other events she has attended. Predictably, it came out on top.
“I had the best time of my entire life today. It was so nice to just be there and support Team USA,” she added.
“All the support from the fans and everything was crazy.
“I had a great experience, and probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever been to. I’d say that, Ryder Cup, the Masters, and then the UFC. “But really cool experience, and now I’m just chilling at the White House. It’s so beautiful here, and obviously, we’re so lucky to be here.

“Not many people get to come here, and especially, have a family member in office. So it’s really cool just to be here, soak it all in, one day it won’t be here anymore.”
Further into the video, Kai hits the links with the president and wraps up one over par. She birdied the second hole with a chip shot and drained another birdie multiple holes afterward.
Donald Trump was then heard saying, “Those were two good shots, honey. You’ve made three birdies today.” Kai subsequently shared her complete score and expressed satisfaction with how she played.
“Just finished playing,” she said. “Shot one-under the front. Shot two-over the back. So one-over through I think it was 6,700 yards, so pretty far but you know pretty proud.
“I’m pretty proud of myself. Played well. Fought hard. Made a lot of up and downs and now we’re gonna have lunch with grandpa.”
