Swinging like Mo may have its followers, but for me, it’s about finding what truly feels comfortable and effective. After 15 years of trying to replicate that iconic style, I’ve realized that the setup felt stiff and unnatural, leading to stagnation in my game. In this video, I dive into the key reasons why I abandoned that approach and share valuable insights on discovering a swing that works for you. Plus, I highlight a crucial element that both Mo and Bryson DeChambeau got right about club positioning, and swinging a golf club on a single plane. If you’ve ever felt stuck in your golf game or are struggling to improve, this is your chance to shift your mindset and take your swing to the next level. Let’s break free from uncomfortable techniques and explore a more personalized approach to golf.

10 reasons why I no longer swing like Mo. So, the first reason uh that I no longer swing like Mo is simply that I never felt comfortable with the setup. The setup felt uh very stiff and uncomfortable to me with the extreme distance from the golf ball, the extreme forward bend and side tilt as well. Uh made me feel uncomfortable and stiff and it made it feel like an unnatural motion for me. even in trying for 15 years. U I feel I never improved at the game uh since I tried swinging like Mo and I’ve met a lot of uh people who tried to do the same either on their own or through instruction uh who did not improve and many who got much worse in trying to do that. So if you’re one of those people uh I’m here to help and give you uh some advice on how to find the way whether it’s here on my channel or through my online learning program or school. So the one thing that Mo did in my opinion get right and that’s what Bryson Dshambo also does is set up with a club in an unccocked position in the hand. So the wrists are in the alner deviation. He’s set up with the club really then on the impact plane where the club’s going to be at impact. And so the rest of all the things that you see Mo do are uh unique to Mo and they’re not something in my opinion that should be copied. I’m going to talk about that a little bit here. So, if you’re ready to start improving immediately, visit my learning program at setupforimpact.com. Joining will allow you then to send in videos for my review and then I can guide you to playing the best golf of your life. There’s also information on schools coming up as well.

There are a lot of ways to swing a golf club that can be successful. If you watch golf, I think this is obvious.
