Kai Trump, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump, received a custom Whoop reserved only for members of the Team USA Ryder Cup team — who lost the 2025 competition at Bethpage Black — and Whoop employees.

The 18-year-old Trump posted a vlog to her YouTube channel — currently boasting over 1.2 million subscribers — titled “So I went to the Ryder Cup with my Grandpa.”

In addition to saying the event was made “special” because of her grandpa’s presence, Kai showed off her new accessory. “Whoop made me a custom-made Team USA band. I’m gonna take it off so I can show you guys,” she says in the vlog.

Kai showed off the red Whoop with the official Ryder Cup insignia on it. “Ryder Cup 2025,” she said. “And then Team USA on the end. Only Team USA players and some Whoop members have this. I’m so lucky to have this. This is so awesome. Also matches my nails.”

Kai, currently a high school senior in Florida, is set to attend the University of Miami on a golf scholarship next year. “I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami,” she said in an Instagram post confirming the news.

“I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point.

“I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support.”

Kai Trump is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, though the pair split a few years ago. Vanessa Trump is currently in a relationship with 15-time major champion Tiger Woods.

Team USA lost 15-13 to Team Europe in the Ryder Cup. With the president in attendance on Day 1, the Americans laid a massive egg, falling two points behind.

A furious comeback on Sunday was not enough. A six-foot birdie by Shane Lowry clinched at least a retention of Europe’s crown.

“If you win, it’s glory for life. If you lose, it’s like saying, ‘I’m going to have to put up with this for the rest of my life,'” American captain Keegan Bradley said after the tournament.

“There’s nothing in me that thinks I’ll ever top this.” The US leader explained, “You put so much effort and all that planning into it, and then the first two days went as badly as we could have ever imagined.”

Kai Trump golfs with President Trump from time to time. “I just don’t view it as him being the president. I view it as, he’s my grandpa. We’re gonna go out there and play golf,” Kai told Fox News Digital in a recent interview. “We play golf all the time. It’s nothing new.”
