All right, guys. We here. The trip is among us, and I’m super excited to get out to Thailand, play some golf. But before we do that, I wanted to come on here real quick because we got a package that came just in time for this trip. You know, we love ghost golf over here. So, we got a Ghost Golf Awol travel bag, and we’re going to unbox this and give you guys a little bit of an unboxing experience, show you guys what comes in it, and then we’re just going to be testing this travel bag out, seeing how well it holds up when we’re traveling overseas. And then once we actually get to Thailand, we’re also going to be traveling throughout Thailand, taking a couple flights to and from different cities and things like that. So, we’re going to put this thing to the test over the next 30 days, and I’m going to check in through each stop, show you guys how the travel bag is holding up, and if it’s worth, you know, picking up for you guys that, you know, like to travel, traveling style, and do all that good stuff. So, without further ado, we’re going to open this bad boy up. my uh knife like that. All right, first of all, first impressions. Um, you know, Ghost Golf is known for how well they pack their gear. So, first of all, the packaging is pretty dope. So, you guys check that out. the packaging that it comes in. There’s the back. Super cool. And it says you got a free club defender inside. And the club defender is basically that thing that it’s like a little pole that you can extend that kind of protects your clubs and it defends your clubs throughout travel so they don’t get smashed up in the in the bag or whatever. Ghost off logos all over this thing. Very very nice packaging so far. Love that. And just kind of go over some of the things on the back. We’re going to go over it when we open the box. But some of the key features, 1680D ballistic nylon material. I’m guessing that’s some heavy duty military grade type material. Padded compartments. You got 100% water resistant fabric, which is nice just in case, you know, when you’re traveling, different conditions, and people throwing your club under underneath the plane or whatever, you want to make sure your club is protected and the bag is protected. It has premium YKK zippers. YKK is kind of crazy, but premium YKK zippers, whatever that means. It fits carry bags and fullsize cart bags. So, I’ve been debating whether I want to take my Ghost Golf cart bag or my carry bag cuz, you know, you’re going to be traveling throughout Thailand and things like that. So, I don’t know if a cart bag is going to be a little bit clunkier to kind of, you know, haul away and things of that nature store away and and stuff like that. So, I’m kind of debating whether I want to take the cart bag or the stand bag. And uh it’s good to know that this thing fits both of them. So, yeah, I’m still kind of debating on that. Leaning towards a stand bag just because of the convenience of, you know, traveling a little lighter, smaller, and uh just trying to fit that, you know, depending on where we’re staying throughout Thailand and things of that nature. You just don’t know. So, it’s kind of better to have a little bit of a smaller bag. But, you know, we’ll see. But, without further ado, we’re going to open this bad boy up. But, I kind of want to do a little bit different this time. I want to do a little bit of a cinematic unboxing because you guys know I love my cinematic stuff. So, we’re going to put this thing down and let’s get cinematic with [Applause] [Music] it. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Hey, hey, hey. All [Music] right, we back. Now, let’s dive a little deeper into this bag. First, we’re going to start with the outside of the bag. Just the aesthetics. I mentioned in the video that it was 1680B ballistic nylon, and I was doing some little research on the website. This stuff is made out of military grade material. And if you feel this, it’s like super solid, really really tough looking material. I can’t really describe it. It’s uh it’s just it it seems very durable and not going to accidentally rip or anything like that. So, I’m looking forward to seeing how that holds up throughout the airport and all the traveling and things of that nature. Right off the bat, you notice on the bag there’s a ton of handles on this thing. So, you got a handle here. You got three handles on the front, two handles on the sides, and a handle at the top, making for about seven handles overall. And I did notice that back here there’s a little Velcro latch. And there’s like a little strap in here. So, I’m guessing this is for like if you’re walking through the airport and you’re rolling a luggage with your carry-on and you can just kind of put this over the handles and drag both of them at the same time. So you’re not carrying two things at the same time, which is pretty cool that they included that. And I have this little hideaway pocket right here just so you can just tuck it away and not be all in the way. So when you need it, you can pull it out, things of that nature. So really, really like that. That was really cool. On this side of the bag, we have a little business card pouch or a name tag pouch that you can put your business card or name tag in here. So, you know, if anybody if you ever lose your bag, somebody can just look in here and kind of get your information and things of that nature. On the front part of the bag, you have this large pocket right here. And this is pretty much where your shoes would go. It’s like a shoe pocket. And you can actually zip this completely off and take this part off, take it somewhere, get your name embroidered on it. Um, and it’s pretty large, too. I think it can fit a size 12 shoe in here. I’m going to test that out here in a second, but pretty large. If you don’t want to put shoes in here, you can put extra clothes, um, other little knick-knacks, things like that. And you guys know that Ghost Golf is really keen about branding and putting their logos over everything. Some people don’t like it. I seem to not mind it, especially when they do it in the way where it’s like really cool. So, one of my favorite parts about this bag is the red straps that stand out and it says Ghost Golf on them. Just the red accents with the black and red. You guys know I love my black and red. So that really stood out to me and one of the reasons why I really wanted this bag to have the Ghost Golf big across it and just kind of makes it distinguish and it stands out when you’re at the airport and you’re looking for your bag. So you don’t really, you know, have the, you know, all black bags and every all black bags look the same, but this one has a little bit of a nice little red accents on it with the Ghost Golf. Now, this also comes in a gray version. So these straps could be gray if you’re not feeling the red straps. That’s super bold. But you know me, I like the red. And also with more branding, they have this very subtle ghost golf badge up here on the front top of the of the bag. Very subtle. It’s black on black stitching. Very high quality. I love that little uh accent. And on the inside of all the pockets, you have ghost just plastered all over the place. And then when we open up the bag, you have more of that ghost golf or that ghost logo design throughout the entire inline of the bag, which makes it really distinct, really cool. Um, it looks it just looks very luxurious. So, we love that. And inside, you have a ton of storage in here. So, you have these big net pockets on the side, and you have two of them. So, you have one on each side. Um, things you can put in here. I don’t know if you wanted to put clothes or extra little knick-knacks, bags, gloves, towels, things of that nature. Even more shoes if you can fit them in here and they can keep that secure. Nice netting, too, so it can breathe a little bit. And also on the inside of the bag, they also have another red buckle strap that has Ghost Golf on it. And this is for when you lay your bag in here and you have your clubs. you can tie your clubs down and not and kind of secure them down to the bag so they’re not like clanking around and they’re loose and things of that nature. So, it’s a little extra added security. And also in the inside the bag you have this little foam protective pouch sleeve, whatever. And they have Velcro, the little Velcro strips on them so you can velcro them to the top part of the bag just like so. And this when you put your clubs in, it’s just a little bit added more protection for, you know, your woods, irons, and things of that nature. So, you can lay your clubs down, put your clubs in here, and kind of just throw this over. So, it just gives that little just bit more of added protection. And it is laced with foam. So, it just, you know, it adds that little extra added protection. And we love that. Oh, and another thing is this back part of the bag with this. This is very solid. The wheels very high quality. um they’ll seem to get caught. They roll pretty smooth and pretty easily. And another thing about the branding that I wanted to kind of point out on this bag, there’s these like little I don’t know like little little buckles, buttons or screws or whatever have you and they have like little Ghost Golf logos on them. So just little attention to detail that Ghost Golf does is really really cool. And another thing that they highlighted on their on their website is these huge zippers. So there these zippers supposed to be like super high quality and they’re a lot bigger than most zippers that I’m used to seeing on bags like this. So it just makes it for easier access, very durable so you don’t breaking things and things of that nature. And let’s also talk about the things that come inside the bag. So you get this TSA approved lock right here. It’s like a three-digit pad lock. And it’s really cool that they included this so you can just kind of tie up your zippers, lock those down so people aren’t going into your bag and trying to steal your clubs. So it’s really cool that they added that. So, I definitely will be using this just to keep everything extra safe. And they also give you two of these luggage packs, which I don’t know if you guys can’t feel this, but it’s all rubber and it’s pretty thick. All the logos kind of protrude a little bit. I don’t know really what that’s called, but they kind of come out and it’s super rubbery. You can kind of feel it. Very nice. Very high quality. You can throw your name on the back and you kind of just hang that. really cool that they added two of these in your luggage. So, you can put this in one of your carry-ons, backpack, or whatever have you. And obviously, the club defender, which is absolutely needed when you’re trying to travel with your clubs, just kind of get that more look again, just more protection for your clubs cuz I know I had a travel bag before this and it was a vice travel bag and it didn’t come with a club defender. Didn’t club with a TSA lock and it didn’t club come with all this extra padding. So just having the peace of mind with all this extra added protection for your clubs cuz you know your clubs are very expensive. It’s a very big investment. So you want to protect that investment. So I’m glad that Ghost Golf gave you all of this stuff just to kind of help you keep everything protected. But like I said, we’re going to be traveling over the next 30 days out through Thailand. So just kind of give you guys a little bit of a rundown of what we’re going to be doing from here. We’re going to be flying over to Taiwan. That’s where we have our layover. We’re going to lay over there for a couple hours. Then from Taiwan, we’re going to fly into Bangkok. We’re going to stay in Bangkok for a few days. Then from Bangkok, we’re going to fly down to KBI, taking the clubs with me. We’re going to stay there for about a week. From KB, we’re going to come back to Bangkok. And then from Bangkok, we’re going to fly up to Chiang Mai. It’s another trip that we’re going to have with this bag with this bag. Then from Chiang Mai, we’re going to drive over to Chiang Rai, spend a few days there, then fly back to Bangkok, and then from Bangkok, fly to Taiwan, and then from Taiwan, fly back to the United States. So, this thing is going to get a lot of runaround over the next 30 days. So, I’m excited to bring you guys and show you guys how this thing holds up over the next 30 days. We’re not going to do that all in one video cuz it’s going to be a lot. So, I’m going to break this up into multiple videos throughout the entire trip. So, make sure you guys stay tuned for that if you guys really want to see how this thing holds up throughout some rigorous overseas traveling. And yeah, so we’re going to pack this thing up. Let me get my clubs in here and we’ll catch you guys in Thailand.

  1. I recently bought this travel bag for a trip to Streamsong in Florida. It also comes with a stow away bag for storage which I was not expecting, score!! I shipped with ship sticks and packed it with my cart bag, extra clothes for the trip, 4 pairs of shoes and still had a ton of room for extras. This bag is guaranteed to accommodate everything you need for those week long golf trips. It travelled really well, and I am so happy I chose this bag over the others I was considering. The material is very durable and you can tell a lot of thought was put into the design and material choices because this bag should last forever. The YKK zippers are buttery smooth and proof that Ghost didn't make a single compromise in the construction. I can't wait for my next golf trip to use this bag again.

  2. Got this about 3 months ago and also ordered their iron headcovers too and I use them when my clubs are in the travel bag just for extra protection. I absolutely love mine man! I go all over for golf so it’s nice having a good travel bag. Great review my man 🙂👍🏼⛳️

  3. I’m glad you did a review on this.. have been thinking about buying a quality travel bag and since I have a ghost golf bag was thinking might as well keep it in the family..bought a Amazon one a while back and it was ok but I kinda wanted a nice one that I know I’ll have for a while

  4. Man I struggle travelling with my clubs in Thailand. The smaller planes have lower weight restrictions, so I always end up paying for excess. And Air Malaysia is the worst. But that's another story.
