I used to be able to perform a trick where it looked like I would go for a fast serve like that, but ended up going for a ghost serve like ball instead with some side/backspin. Would nearly aways give me the first point or 2. Once my opponent would figure me out, I would do an actual fast top spin serve, and after that just switch depending on what my opponent seemed less ready for. I couldn't play very well besides that, but we used my serves to train the prodigy kid at our club at countering
