Rory Kavanagh showed that he’s also pretty handy on the golf course as the 2012 All-Ireland winner landed a ‘hole-in-one’ at Portsalon Golf Course.
The former St Eunan’s man – now manager at Glen Watty Grahams in Derry – was on his usual round on Friday afternoon when he lobbed in straight from the tee on the 5th hole at the picturesque course.
Kavanagh’s Glen side were defeated in the semi-final of the Derry SFC a fortnight ago.
The Maghera-based side were beaten by Magherafelt by 4-15 to 1-14 in Owenbeg as they were denied making a fifth straight Derry SFC final.
