Hello. Hello. Welcome back to another showdown here on the 1010 channel. Today, Jordan and I are playing nine holes of sabotage disc golf where we’ll each pick five discs for the other player to use in this match. We’re sticking with a simple format, one disc for each category. Distance driver, fairway, mid-range, approach disc, and a putter. There aren’t many limits to what we can choose. So, let’s get a snake draft started and see who ends up with the more interesting disc for this showdown. might be a little bit difficult to control. First two picks got in some overstability in that mid-range. Oh, come on. I think we might do a little sonic action. How about a 147X Leopard? Think we’ll go a little more diabolical here. It keeps with the original strategy of everything that he can throw just burns off to the right. I think I’ve got good chances with that. All right, Jordan, for your first disc, your distance driver. See if you can figure out what that is. Good old wahoo. A little wahoo. You got a thick old flight plane. We got a lot of water out here. I wanted to make sure you were covered on the flight this. You know what? And I went as far as to hook you up with a mermaid. Another floater. All considerate. Yep. Lot of water. Consider it. And they’re pink. I shouldn’t lose these. I know. I should have gone with all pink. Okay. And for your mid-range, I know you like stability, but this is a lot of stability. This is a lot of stability. You don’t struggle to throw the disc straight. I hope. No kidding. I hope. I hope the mutant this disc, if you guys don’t know, doesn’t have any rounded edges. It’s all squared off, hard edges. Ridiculously overstable. Probably the most more than a justice. That thing’s beefy. And to compliment it, little Zono. Little Zono S. We’re just going beefy followed by more beefy. Okay. Good luck throwing those guys straight. And then for your putting putter, throwing putter, whatever you want to do with this thing, the bullsnake. Yeah. Best of luck. Nice little flip up turnover. For a putting putter, I got a spin. I’ve been wanting to throw a spin for a minute. Okay, we’ll put that. There you go. We’ll spin it right in. And as a approach disc, I’ve got a Sonic. Yep. This is the one disc when we did the snake draft that I was thinking about for you and it was gone off the shelf. Little Sonic. 295. We’ll go down the left side and hope I don’t hit any trees or catch any road. Oh, that’s kind of a nice flyer. Okay, not a ton of glide, but uh well, it has some glide. I threw it low, but that’s more stable than I thought it might be. Yeah, it’s actually a nice flyer. I think this little uh Harrier 126g -32. Never thrown one, but it’s going to be flippy. I’m gonna hit it on the forehand through the straight gap. Stay up. Stay up. Stay up. Stay up. Oh yeah, she’s flippy. It’s flippy. Got a tough one. Got a tough one there. That’s a tough one. Jordan, this a good time to let the people know that’s happened. Does not matter. We’re back to match play. Crunchtime match play. First six holes are going to be worth one point. That is actually a pretty solid position. I’m gonna go mermaid again. I’m not exactly sure how it’s going to fly, but it held up pretty straight there. I’m going to think flat to slight annheiser out of the hand. See what it does with some power. Oh my goodness. Get through. Oh my goodness. That’s pretty nice. I might need to bag a mermaid. Oh, I think it’s so funny when you say, “All right, I’m going to go mermaid here.” That’s just so funny. That thing flies nice. It’s actually Yeah, it’s quite nice. Like torque resistant. Oo. What are we looking at here? I want to throw set up really nice here. It’s pretty all your disc turned to the right and you’ve got a shot that moves to the right on a backhand. I was trying to avoid throwing a backhand. Flip like paradox. Slow down. Slow down. You got to be kidding me. That’s actually a really good test. Good shot. Good shot. Not bad. Tester. Not bad. That’s inside C1. Tester putt. Well, we’re going to try out this jawbreaker Zono S. Little juiced. Oh, pretty nice. Bull snake. Oh. Oh, off the band. But that was at least on line. Pretty clean release. I thought it was sailing over the basket. I thought it was going to be in a bad way. Well, I was kind of hoping it would go over the basket with a ton of glide and it find that OB line down there and I can get easy. Easy point. Easy point. That one pushes on to the next. That pushes. I think the Zono S might be straighter. Only time will tell. Which is interesting enough. So, my only chance here is to throw it in. We’ll go a little Zone OS action again. Sucker. Super beefy. What I’m finding out is it flies a lot like my mid-range, the Trust. It’s a little faster, but it doesn’t seem to really go that much farther. I’m thinking this is a stressful forehand cuz I think I’m going have to throw it on more hiser than what I’m used to. Hope it doesn’t flip up and go in the road. Or just go straight in the creek. Scores all square. Throwing the wahoo once. I think I could get the birdie with a wahoo, but I feel like it’s a bit of a risky play. I think you should do the wahoo. I’ve been throwing that wahoo. I’ve been throwing that mermaid pretty well. Well, I don’t know how we have a headwind on this side, too. I don’t know either. You can’t make this stuff up. I’m not sure about throwing this 400 ft either. Mhm. But I might try. Mhm. I don’t expect Kellen to get the birdie on this one. So, I don’t know about that. I can go right at the bushes and get it to turn just a touch. Oh, no. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Oh, stay down there. I got a chance. I have a chance. I have a chance because the only discs I have are like layup discs. There’s nothing that just keeps me safe the whole time. I thought that one would stay safe through that one. I’m glad you went first cuz I would have been in a bad way. That helps things out a little bit. Yeah. Okay. Try to go paradox. A little layup. Bite off half the fairway. Hiser flip. There we go. There’s a chance that was a little too far to be doing that. We weren’t paint uh playing painted lines. That would be fine, but I’m going to be OB over here in three. All right, time to clutch up. I wish I knew how safe to play it, but I feel like I’ve got to get the birdie here. But I mean, if I can push the hole, then we can always go to 18 and anything can happen there. I think I’ve got the advantage on 18. Find it inbounds on the backside. It might be fine down there. Oh my goodness. It’s out of bounds. Is it? Yeah. I think it hit into here though. It probably crossed like down here cuz it looked like it hit into this like it disappeared. But I bet what it did was fall here and then get over and then get over here. We could lay it up. We could lock it down. That ain’t me though. Y’all know me. I’m going to run this. I’m going to give it a chance. Okay, we’re going to go with this here. Jordan, what’d you think of your frisbees, my man? Some of them were stable, some of them surprised me. Now, the mermaid I really liked. I was just struggling a little bit with the stability at the very end with the wind cuz it is lighter. I would be curious what it actually weighs. Let me ask you this, my man. Uh, how was that mutant? Didn’t throw it. Mhm. Mhm. But we didn’t get the whole 18. That’s true. It was You were going to tee off with it on 18. I was thinking about teeing off, but I was thinking the approach shot. Okay. Is where I thought the mutant would come out. All right.
