St. Andrews has some great golf and St. Andrews Golf Course is the course to play. But there’s a number of golf courses like these four that you should play that are not St. Andrews with the Old Course Hotel, which is a another popular destination, not to be confused with the St. Andrews Old Course. You have the Old Course Hotel, a prestigious 4.7 with,200 Google reviews to choose from. uh 4.7 out of five. That is considered to be one of Europe’s most luxurious and luxury resorts. This is one of those courses that have seen some changes throughout its years when it was first constructed in 1968. So, it’s not that old. It’s located on the old railroad station. It used to be there and includes 175 rooms. But this video is all about golf. So, let’s head on in to our next course on this list as we run through this wonderful area. But it’s important to note that this is an independent opinionated list. So, any information that you could provide will be greatly appreciated. This is just about 12 miles from St. Andrews, the home of golf. But this course here was founded in 1787. The club that is this course still remains laid out by Tom old Tom Morris himself in 1894 and competitions have been played here since 1850s. Now that’s the original course but multiple courses that are here. You have Glenn Arison’s course stretches 60,654 yards. There’s a total of 36 golf courses in total here at this complex, leaving us now with just three more courses here to take a look at. It’s a great list, but we’re missing information. Bringing us now into the next facility, we have the Duke’s Golf Course, a 4.6 with 300 Google reviews to choose from. This course is affiliated with the Old Course Hotel and this championship golf course here has a lot of great amenities. one we need. This is hosted to fivetivime open championship by Peter Tomlson who built the course and it lays about three and a half miles from the hotel. Course itself offers many amenities one would need and its profile is pretty legit as you can see right now. multiple golf courses to choose from, but along with those, the Duke’s Golf Course and is very popular with also a 9-hole golf course there as well. This is the touch and go here because it’s just about situated 7 miles from St. Andrews, but the history is very interesting in itself at this location. Course is considered to be a top 10 in the country year in year out when it was first constructed in 2000. is rated one of the best golf courses in Scotland. The course is also top 100 in the world. It’s public. It was built by Kyle Phillips who put together an amazing golf facility when he built this golf course. It also hosted some interesting European tour events since the construction of this course.
