The Club You’re NOT Using Could Save You 3 Shots a Round!
I want to talk to you about why there are so many options with the short game. It’s not just that go-to lob wedge all the time. As you can see, we’ve got four flags in a line here. We’re going to pick three of them. We’re going to go the first, the second, and the fourth. And we’re going to hit a different club to each one. Not a lot of green to work with for the first one. So, we take the most loft because when this ball comes down, it’s going to stop. Hole number two. a little bit further away uphill. So, we’re going to take a 48 degree and this is just going to release a little bit more. Hole number three, which is the fourth flag at the back there, as you can see, which is right at the top of the green. It’s all the way uphill. We’ve got a lot of green to work with. We’re actually going to use an eight iron here because when we strike this eight iron, it’s going to want to run. It’s going to have a little bit more speed because it’s got less loft. It’s going to want to run out even further. Three different clubs, three different shots. Stop just using that trusty lob wedge all the time and start increasing the variety of the shots that you’ve got when you’re around the
