The Garmin software version 7.15 update is now available for users of two of the brand’s smartwatches. The release increases the number of courses which can be shown for one particular activity. Plus, this stable update for the Approach S44 and Approach S50 wearables also tackles several bugs.

Garmin has released another stable update for its Approach S44 and Approach S50 golfing smartwatches. It follows the 6.58 and 6.59 updates from a few months ago, which brought improvements for the Breathing Variations tool’s interface.

This latest release, software version 7.15, brings several improvements for these Approach smartwatches. Firstly, the number of golf courses that can be shown simultaneously in the course list has been increased, though Garmin does not indicate the exact number. Plus, the Round Summary screen has been updated to match that seen on the S70 smartwatch

This stable release for the Approach S44 and Approach S50 smartwatches also fixed several issues. A problem where the device did not vibrate to remind users to log their score has been resolved. Garmin has also tackled bugs linked to distances in the list of previous shots, and a possible crash when the device was started.

On top of this, the smartwatch’s translation functionality has been enhanced, though Garmin does not provide details here. Software version 7.15 is now available for all users of the Approach S44 and Approach S50 (curr. $399.99 at Amazon Marketplace). You can install the update via the Garmin Golf app or with Garmin Express.
