How Ryder Cup Sunday matches are determined

Team Europe is going to bring a huge advantage over the U.S. team to the grand finale on Sunday at Bethpage.

The final day at the 2025 Ryder Cup features 12 matches, all of which are singles matches. That means all 24 players from both teams will compete one-on-one to determine who hoists the Cup Sunday evening at Bethpage.

The format for Sunday’s matches is regular match play, with the first match kicking off at 12:02 p.m. ET Sunday afternoon.

“Now they got to go catch up, and I like that” Bradley likes Team USA’s chances

Once play is finished on Saturday, the captains will make their choices in private, selecting which order their 12 players will play in on Sunday. When both captains have revealed their picks Friday night, we will finally know the Sunday singles matchups.

You can watch the final day of the 2025 Ryder Cup on NBC, which will air exclusive TV coverage on Sunday from 12 p.m.-6 p.m. ET.
