New golfer here. Please critique my swing. Any tips to be more consistent. I've been working on keeping my wrist, almost bowed or cocked as before I used to hinge to the max. Any tips is welcomed.
Focus on the basics before you obsess over more advanced concepts such as shallowing your downswing. Focus on a proper posture, grip, and weight transition and work on these concepts with a mid-club like an 8 or 7 iron, not a driver.
Study the mechanics of the swing and gain an understanding of how the body works in making a golf swing. If you don’t understand what you’re supposed to be doing, then most likely won’t execute the body mechanics properly.
Also…practice putting… a lot. Half your strokes on a golf course are with a putter in your hand. If you can whittle that down to closer to a third of your strokes, you’ll score well and take all your golfing buddies’ money.

Bend at the hips. You’re standing kinda vertical.

I wouldn’t worry about shallowing. Learn basics first.
