The 2025 Ryder Cup is the 45th edition and runs between September 25 – September 28. Luke Donald is the European Team Captain and Keegan Bradley is the U.S. Team Captain. The European Team are the reigning champion after winning 16 ½ – 11 ½ at Marco Simone in 2023. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

Delighted for Shane. A man from a working class background. His parents borrowed from the Credit Union so he could play golf. A family and community man. He loves his Country and his County Offaly and his little town Clara. I heard his granny speak the other day on RTE. They always kept him on the straight and narrow. His Father Brendan played on the Offaly Gaelic football team that won an All Ireland Football final in 1982 stopping Kerry going for a 5 in a row.

This is the first time I’ve ever rooted against my countrymen, and it was because of the crowd.
then, after hearing the weak ass comments from Keegan Bradley and Donald Rae attempting to compare it to the crowds in Rome in ‘23 or to a weekend soccer match, it made it even more gratifying!!!!
