The Course
Designed for over 12 years, Club Campestre de Monterrey is an 18-hole course that first opened in 1955. In 1997, nine additional holes were added to the course, bringing the course to a unique 27-holes. Today, Club Campestre de Monterrey is playable through three sets of 9-hole courses, the Silla-Mitras, Mitras-Sierra, and Sierra-Silla. In addition to the unique 27-holes of play, Club Campestre de Monterrey prides itself on sustainability and ecological balance. Beginning in the 1980s, the Club underwent a project to begin recycling nonpotable water to irrigate the greens, and to this day does not use a single drop of clean drinking water for the maintenance of green areas. Additionally, the Club features a diverse range of native fauna to help enhance the natural beauty of the Monterrey area. The Club hosts many tournaments of all skill levels, and was the host of the Monterrey Open on the PGA Korn Ferry Tour from 1993 to 2001.
