All right. So, the whole purpose of these discs are to help you avoid hitting thin shots. You know what a thin shot is? You’re not coming down on the ball specifically with your irons and where you’re chipping around the green. How many times have we hit a chip shot where you hit it and it does this. You do that right there. Why does that happen? Because you didn’t actually come down on the ball. And this is honestly something I’m really working on is my chipping around a green and I’m not warmed up late it and especially if I’m not even on the green but I’m on a tight lie maybe 10 15 yards out from the pin and I’m on the fairway but it’s tight you know when I say tight it’s grass but it’s hard packed it’s almost like hitting off of mint and for some reason I’ll get nervous and I won’t actually come down on the ball. I like to try to scoop it. I’ll do something like that. So, after I hit this last one, we’ll transition to the Sky Track and I’ll do some chipping on the range and we’ll see how I do. Let’s go to the range. All right, we are on the range. This is actually uh Pebble Beach whole one doing an aerial view uh right now. Actually, I think it’s called the drone view if I’m not mistaken. And I’m looking at the grid, kind of see the high and low points of the green. This is my first time chipping on a Sky Track, so it was a different experience. It took me a few swings to really get the feel of it, as you can imagine, cuz you’re you see my setup. I’m chipping into a net, so it’s kind of hard to judge distance. And you’ll see on the first few swings or the first few hits rather that I had the distance um wasn’t dialed in. Wasn’t dialed in at all. So it wasn’t going as far as I thought as you can see on that one. So I hit it and I was kind like all right. So like obviously I got to hit a little further. is very I’ll definitely say hitting iron shots and driving uh using the simulator to me in my opinion is easier to gauge than chipping around the green. But this is an awesome feature once I got the hang of it. I started getting more comfortable and you’ll see just from me hitting a few swings or taking a few shots here that I was able to get a little closer and closer as I continued. I’m pretty comfortable chipping off the fringe on a real course. And that one was going I’ve never played Pebble Beach. So I don’t really have no idea how their greens really are. Um this one in particular, you’re hidden up to the green and then closer to the hole, the green elevates. As you can tell by the yellow and then the red lines. If you play golf online like the Tiger Woods or PGA Tour games and this is pretty much like a video game except for you’re actually you’re actually in it, you know. So that’s actually pretty cool. So I definitely plan on and look forward to using this chipping feature um to help my game out. Plus, it’s just fun, you know. It’s just fun to have your friends come over or just have family, you know, come out there with you and just make it fun. That’s what I do. Anyways, I’m not a pro, like I said many times. You’ll hear me keep saying it. I’m just a amateur weekend golfer is passionate about the game and anything that I can do to help anybody or learn from anybody, I’m down for it. And that’s why I’m making these videos. Cheap practice cheap practice aids that are very affordable that we don’t got to break the bank on that are actually useful and beneficial. These little chips have really helped me develop some consistency and hitting the ball, hitting down on the ball and not blading it. That is, if you don’t know how that feels when actually playing, to me it’s like the worst. I just my score just goes up from me hitting bad shots around a green and it’s very frustrating. You know, you hit the perfect drive, you get a good good iron shot, you know, you lay it up and then you’re looking at a chip like this. And for me, one of my isms, I get I don’t know what it is. It’s like my confidence is shot. So, I hit it then and it shoots across the freaking green and it is very it’s mad frustrating. So, anything that I can do to work on it is what I do. I don’t know why I stopped so long on this one. For some reason, I just pause. So, we’re going to uh transition out of the video. Oh, looks like it didn’t take the shot, but we’ll see. We’ll give it a couple of seconds. See if I hit another shot. I’m not sure what was going on here. I probably hit it then if I’m being honest with you. The whole reason why we’re making the video is not to hit it then. But we’ll give it one more try and see if we could register another one. If not, we’re going to Yeah, we’re going to head to the outro. All right, everybody. I hope you enjoyed today’s video. So once again, these discs are designed to help you reduce hitting shots thin. Use them with your wedges, use them with your irons. No more bladed shots, no more the the carpet burners, you know, running across the the fairway. Most the downward strike. You just got to trust the process, right? So lowkey golf. Stay smooth, stay consistent, and keep your swing low key. All right, we’ll see you next time.
