You cannot release your hands too quickly. So, a very common thing that amateurs try to do is really hold on to these wrist angles and think they have to hold onto it through the entire swing. This is wrong. Especially with driver, you cannot release your hands too early as long as your body is moving in the correct sequence. If I release my hands too early, but I have come over the top and I’m spinning my shoulders out, that will be a cast. However, if on my back swing I get a good load forward and I have not spun open too early, I can throw my hands as early as I like and time that up with the push in the ground and hit the ball correctly. Don’t focus on trying to hold wrist angles. Load it back naturally and then just focus on throwing the club as hard as you can at the ball. Okay? Throw the club. That’s how we get speed. You just don’t want to be trying to throw the club with your upper body like that. We don’t want shoulders going. Load properly and then sling it through with your lead shoulder. Don’t turn. sling. That is how we get the proper release. [Music]

You know Jack Nicholas said that very sane thing in a tape I had years ago. Thanks for not letting us ( the Viewers) fail ❤
Best advice ever!!!!
Makes sense there is nothing worse than watching it slice .
Good tip, my bad move if I practice irons a bit too much is releasing too late with hands too far forward.
