but being able to use David Duval as somewhat of a Swing model really helped me as a baseball player I naturally was a big Rotator well David Duval was an awesome Rotator and some of the things that set him up to be able to rotate so well were how he gripped the golf club and the face conditions that he had which necessitated some of the movement patterns we see with David So when David swing swing a golf club he set up with what was one of the more strong grips on tour at the time he had a nice strong grip he made a nice turn back and had the face in a strong almost shut position and then from there he played an awesome little bullet fade well in order to do that he really had to be efficient at getting his body out of the way

But as you surely know, not best for everyone.
I’ve sat in the stand behind the driving ranges at multiple tour events including half a dozen majors. The best display of “range striking” I have witnessed was DD at the ‘94 PGA at Southern Hills. He was practically flawless for a two-hour stretch.
The strong grip necessitated the rotation and shaft lean to prevent a hook. If he didn't rotate and lean the shaft he would hit a big hook.
Incredible pants on that guy
is this swing good or bad for lower back? I have swapped swings every week for 5 years looking for something that just feels good and no sore back when i wake up next day.
D.D played at an extremely high level when his timing, rhythm, balance, rotation, hand-eye co-ordination, short game, course management and putting were all in sync. I think his problem was exactly this reliance on conscious rotational timing… and injuries. But still a great player.
I would like to say that your club face, relative to your spine, is open.
