If your chipping is becoming a serious problem, don’t worry. I have the fix. If you’ve got the douffs or the thins that fire across the green at break neck pace, I can solve it. The reason it’s happening is because we’re attacking the golf ball too much from the inside and on the up because the chest is leaning back in the down swing, all in an effort to try and get the ball elevated. Save this drill, though, and see what happens. I want you to cross your lead leg over your trail leg. The reason we’re going to do this is it’s going to keep the chest on top of the golf ball and get the club swinging a bit more neutrally. Then we will start to see that the club will bottom out after the golf ball. And then doing this means you now get that lovely ball then turf strike and get rid of those thins and fats. Have a go in this position and start to see that the strike gets better. And when you’re comfortable, go back to your normal stance and you’ll start to see that you are chipping it like god. Remember, subscribe and share this to a friend who struggles.
