AMES, Iowa – Fresh off a four week break, the Cyclones wrap up the fall season by heading to Loxley, Ala. to take on the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational for the first time. The tournament will start on Saturday, Oct. 25th and concludes Sunday, Oct. 26th.
The Lineup (Alphabetically): Paul Beauvy, Zach May, Luke Metcalf, Jackson McCommon, Dianchao Wu
COURSE INFORMATION
Steelwood was designed by 1976 U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate. Despite the flat topography of the region, Pate created numerous elevation changes and fairway undulations to challenge players. The course opens along Steelwood Lake and then heads into a more heavily wooded area before returning to the lakeside to close an 18-hole golf course. Stretching more than 7,100 yards, this award-winning championship golf course meanders through rolling hills, dense hardwood forests and natural wetlands. More than one third of the course offers panoramic views of Steelwood Lake including the 18th hole.
