Boys, what an unbelievable battle. Rory, you’ve had some big matches in your time here at the RDER Cup, but just how satisfying is that, Wayne? Yeah, hugely satisfying. Uh it’s Shane and I’s first full point as a partnership. Uh we got a half yesterday, but it’s nice to get Yeah, look, um another blue point on the board. You know, that’s what we wanted to do. Um and yeah, I’m I’m so proud of this guy. He was with me. He was there for me all day. I was I’m drained to say the least and uh he he dug in big time when he had to. I chipped I chipped in when I could here and there but uh you know the credit goes to this man today. Shane, you exploded with the eagle on four and the emotions of the match just ran so high. How do you describe the intensity of what you just experienced the last few hours? Yeah, it was it was intense. It was like, you know, something I’ve never experienced. Uh but you know, this is what I live for. This is this is it. This is like honestly this is the reason I get up in the morning for stuff like this. This is like what I love doing. Um I love being a part of this team. I really want us to win this tournament. But you know that’s only a point towards victory. I think you know we still have a job to do. Obviously we’re we have a quite a big lead. But you know we’re you know we need to keep the foot on the gas now and and h get over that line as quick as we can. But obviously I’m very happy now and yeah I’m enjoying this. But I’m going to go and cheer the boys in now and hopefully we can get a couple of more blue points on the board. Just finally, Ro, you said Shane was there for you today. Did the crowds take it too far in your opinion? Look, you know, when you play an away Rder Cup, it’s really, really challenging. Um, you know, it’s not for me to say. You know, people can can be their own judge of whether they took it too far or not. Um, you know, I’m just proud of us for being able to win um today with, you know, what we, you know, what we had to go through. Well done, boys. Enjoy this one. Thank you. The 2025 Ryder Cup is the 45th edition and runs between September 25 – September 28. Luke Donald is the European Team Captain and Keegan Bradley is the U.S. Team Captain. The European Team are the reigning champion after winning 16 ½ – 11 ½ at Marco Simone in 2023. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. My sympathy is for the decent American golf fans who support the event for it's values and sportsmanship, such a shame it's all devalued by punkass lowlifes who are only there to cause trouble and ugliness.
It’s truly amazing and sad how a small minority of fans can destroy the excitement and competitiveness of a Ryder Cup. The reality is that the genuine American golf fans will now have to wait for FOUR YEARS to experience the thrill of hosting the Ryder Cup.
Some Americans fans too dumb to realise the tasteless classless personal abuse towards Rory and others fires up the Europeans and demotivates the Americans with the negative energy.

When they play the Ryder cup in Ireland. The americans will see what fairness and respect for the opposition is. But when they return to the US they will be the same as before. Sadly that is where the USA is now.
