All right, I got a big match play singles matchup coming up and we’re going to play against AI today. Got a simulated round. It is against AI Frankie Fairway who’s a 10 and a half handicap. So, let’s see if I can beat him today on match play. All right, let’s get this match started versus AI. I gave him the T-OT. His went to the right or it shot went right and my T-OT right down the middle with the fivewood. Frankie Fairway second shot. The approach shot is short, so I should really attack here with that five iron. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go. Over the bunker. And it carries. Yes, it does. And we’re on the green. Frankie fairway. His third shot. It’s a chip onto the green for 15 ft. That was his third shot. So, here’s my third shot. If I could just two putt, I think I could beat him. And there’s the lag putt is about 40 feet. So Frankie, he missed his putt to 1.5 ft. And I can see that he wants me to putt this out. Come on. Would you give that to your opponent? He probably did the calculations. Humans win the hole. All right, we’re at hole two. It’s a par4. 413 yards. I got the T- box. I’m one hole up. Driver in hand. And it’s a little fadey to the right into the trees. AI Frankie Fairway, of course, takes his driver and hits it down the middle. That’s why his name is Frankie Fairway. So, he’s looking good for his approach shot. My approach shot. I got to hit a four hybrid over the tree and it’s just a little right and we just missed the green a little bit. AI Frankie his approach shot hits the green. Very consistent for a 10.5 handicap. All right, I’m up off the green and a duffed the chip. Come on. I needed that for shot. I got to make this 56 degree wedge in hand and just comes up short. AI, he lags it close and the putt is good for the par. So AI wins this hole. Hole three, par three. His T-shot goes to the right and it’s short. my T-shot. I want to be sure of the bunkers up there. So, I hit a sixiron and it’s a little short, too. We both have chips. I got my 56 degree wedge. Trying to roll it up there. Trying to get it for a par. Frankie chips it to 10 ft. So, we’re both not in good position to get up and down. Frankie putts and he misses it and he gets a bogey. My par attempt. Come on. Oh, Frankie gives that to me. So, we push on that hole. Hole four is a par four. 354. Frankie hits a hybrid. My T-shot five would there’s a pawn up front. Played a little draw. A little bit too much of a draw. And hopefully that’s still in bounds. And luckily I found it by the fence. It is not in good position though. So just hitting it out of the leaves. Fall is here folks. Fall is indeed here. Frankie Fairway. His approach shot lands in the bunker. So if I could get this on the green, I could have a chance to beat him on this hole. Four hybrid. Uh pushy to the right. Good distance, but just way too pushy. Frankie’s third shot and bunker shot to 15 ft. He’s out on the green and I’m on my fourth shot. I need to get this on the green and it’s a little short. Frankie putts misses to the right but in tapping range and so Frankie is in with the bogey. I got to make this to time for this hole and I miss it. AI wins the hole again. So now I’m down one hole five. Frankie took the T- box. Good drive right down the middle. Come on. It is as expected. I’m taking my driver out and as a human of course I’m slicing it right a bit. Frankie second shot. He hits a 3-wood and lands just short of the green. He is way up there. So, I got to pull out my driver, hit a driver fade, and get as close as possible as I can. I got this tree in front of me, though. Hit the fade. Luckily got through the tree, and I’m down there for 189 yards. So, AI Frankie is up close just chipping. I got a wedge shot in. Third shot about 88 yards to the flag. Going right at it and I felt like I had good contact, but maybe there’s some wind up there and I’m just short of the green. So, I’m chipping for my fourth shot. Frankie chipped onto the green and into tap in range. He’s in with a birdie. Oh man, AI is tough. So, I got to chip this in to tie the hole. Go, go, go, go, go. And it’s not enough. AI wins the hole again. So now we’re at hole six. I’m down two. Frankie has a T box again. His driver T-shot is again down the fairway. I’m going to play it safe. I’m going to hit a fivewood. I need to get mine into onto the fairway as well and set myself up to score well. So, 202 yds down the middle of the fairway. Now I got a hybrid in hand. I’m going first. I’m further away. Man, the swing is just not happening. A little bit pushy. 177 yards short. Frankie approach shot hits the green to 45 ft. That’s a far distance to putt. I still have a chance here. Third shot off the green. If I could get up and down, it’ll be good. 56 degree hop hop skip check I’m in tight Frankie fairway lags to seven feet for his third shot and then he misses the sevenfooter putt conceded bogey two and a half feet is Frankie going to give this to me he’s like no it’s outside the leather please putt that out he says or it says is. So, I’m going to put it out. And it’s a easy putt. Humans win the hole. Let’s go. Hole seven. It’s par three. I got the T- box. 175 yards away. T- box is on the left side. Don’t want to be in that bunker on the left. So, hit it on the right side. And I’m just off the green. Frankie T-shot misses in the left bunker. Now he’s shortsighted. His bunker shot blades out for a second shot. Then he chips onto the green to 9 ft for his third shot. So I should win this hole definitely here. My second shot just off the green. 56° wedge. Just got to chip it and then get it down that hill and feed it into the hole. And oh, just missed. Frankie Fairway, you giving this to me for the par. Frankie says pick it up. Humans win the hole. Let’s go. Hole eight, par four. 359 yards. I got the T- box. I’m going to get a 3-wood. Just going to try to get on the right side of the fairway and h the human miss. Pushing it right. Come on. Frankie’s T-shot. He’s a good player. His T-shot goes into the left tree. We’re both in not in great positions here. I just got to punch out here. I got a little greedy. I try to go for the green with a punch out. Hit a few trees and Oh no, I’m behind another tree. Not a good shot. Frankie plays it safe. He punches it out into the fairway for his second shot. Now third shot for me. Trying to play a little cut around this tree. Try to get on the green, but just onto the fairway. Frankie Farway. Wedge lands short on the fringe for his third shot. So he’s near the hole on his third shot. This is my fourth shot. 50 yards and gets rejected by the hill. Frankie Farway chip into tapping range and the putt is conceded. All right, I got to make this chip to tie him up. And it comes up just a little short. So AI wins the hole. Now we’re back to Frankie Fairway. He’s up by one. His T-shot finds the fairway on this hole on this ninth hole. I’m ting it higher. Got to go after it with the driver. And luckily I keep it in play. Don’t hit any power lines and and we’re still good. So there’s still a chance to beat the robots. Hole nine shot two. Frankie lays up to 100 yards. playing it safe. Very smart player at that 10.5 handicap. Me at an 11 handicap. I’m going do OD. Got to go for the green here. Try to got to try to win this hole down the hill. And it’s safe for 191 yards. Frankie Farway wedge it hits the green. So he has a gurr or it has a gurr. And I got another 55 yd wedge shot here. 56°. Just going to play 50 yards and roll it up there. And it’s a great shot. Frankie’s for a shot. Misses to the right, but he’s in tap in range. And the putt conceded. He’s in with a par. So, I got to make this birdie to win the hole. Very important. I’m down one hole. I need this hole to put it back to all square. I’m reading a right to left one finger. Stay up. Stay up. Stay up. And it’s not enough. Nice par, says Frankie. That’s good. Frankie says, “See you on the back. I need to run a few simulations really quick and charge my batteries really quick.” Okay, Frankie. We’ll see you on the back nine. This match isn’t over, but this video is over. We’ll see you next time.
