I got my first lesson ever and used the instructor’s 7 iron. I liked my lesson and hit my first golf ball. So I went on the internet and found a local club plug and he sent me these pics. $15 each.
I’d go for the middle one 😃. Tops not a terrible option either.

Bigger club face for forgiving, top IMO

Definitely top and work down

I have a whole set of XRs. I shot an 82 with them this past weekend.

Adam’s Idea will be the most forgiving for a beginner.

Tough question knowing nothing about you. Pick the shaft that you swing the best. Not really light but not a sledge hammer. I’d go Adams or Callaway all things bring equal

Which one inspires confidence in your eye! That’s the one to buy !

For a Beginner, Go with the Callaway XR, it has a Steel shaft, you don’t want to be dealing with a graphite shaft Iron as a Beginner

Search your feelings, Luke. You already know the answer.
The game is so mental, if one looks like something you can hit, it almost surely is. A better club that looks hard to you, really is harder.

Try out all 3 while you’re waiting for your lesson.

Callaway, because it is an easier transition to a known brand once you commit. On the more affordable side as well.
PlayfulTree1643
Top easier to get in the air and will fly father Middle will get in the air but harder to hit than the top Bottom will be extremely hard to hit but you can move the ball right to left and it won’t fly as far.
If you haven’t played, play bigger faces to get A sense of contact if you’re trying to get better faster start middle.

What is your: size, weight, age? Shafts and lengths are kind of important (that’s what she said)

XR. All day
LlamaJacks
I would lean towards the Callaway first and the Adams second. Those look easiest to hit to me
letsgobrooksy
Middle, it’s plenty of forgiving and you’re likely going to end up playing steel shafts anyway

XR is fantastic for GI and forgiveness, also quality enough to keep in your bag til you ready to make a big purchase.
