KAUA’I, HAWAII – Led by a sensational day by Alessandra Nagayo, Kennesaw State women’s golf moved up one spot to 13th place after Round 2 at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Hawaii on Tuesday.
The Owls posted a 6-over par score for a total of 297-294 after 36 holes at the Ocean Course Hokuala.

Nagayo was lights out on Tuesday, shooting a 3-under par 69 to move to even par for the tournament – a 44-spot rise to 13th place, individually. She carded three birdies for the day.
True freshman Ariana Silva remained steady on Day 2, shooting 1-over par to sit in 21st place with a 2-over par score overall.
Right behind her on the day was Sabrina Kim, who recorded a 3-over par 75 to sit 6-over par and in 49th place overall.
Tied in 69th place (8-over par), individually, after Round 2 for the Owls are Jackie Jang and Nyah Kelly. Jang turned in a 5-over par 77 on Tuesday, while Kelly carded a 6-over par 78.
Leading KSU’s individuals was Hannah Cheryl Alan, who shot 4-over and sits 10-over for the tournament (83rd). Natasha Korman turned in an 8-over par and is 15-over for the week (97th), while Ladina Luder shot 10-over on Tuesday and is 17-over for the week (106th).

The tournament will wrap up on Wednesday with a 9 a.m. HT (3 p.m. ET) shotgun start.
