Tommy Fleetwood will look back upon 2025 with fond memories.
The Englishman, now 34 years old, is up to a career-high fifth in the world rankings after a season that finally saw him get that elusive win in the United States.
Fleetwood grabbed his first PGA Tour title in August at the season-ending Tour Championship, holding his nerve amid a stacked leaderboard that included the top-ranked Scottie Scheffler and Patrick Cantlay.
It followed a dramatic near miss at the Travelers Championship when he crumbled like a pack of cards on the 72nd hole, making a bogey out of nowhere to hand Keegan Bradley the initiative.
Bradley rolled in a short birdie putt and went wild. But Fleetwood put that disappointment behind him quickly and was put in another stellar performance for Europe at the 2025 Ryder Cup.

Fleetwood – who reprised his partnership in the biennial contest with Masters champ Rory McIlroy – was Europe’s top points scorer as Luke Donald’s men held on to secure a 15-13 away win at Bethpage Black.

A fourth Ryder Cup appearance for Fleetwood saw him collect four points and, had it not been for an inspired Justin Thomas, he would’ve left the Big Apple undefeated.
His year got even better when he picked up his eighth DP World Tour title at the inaugural India Championship.
And there is still every chance he will add more victories to his CV as the $19m play-offs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are on the horizon.

As we know in elite men’s professional golf, success brings a huge amount of prize money.
Fleetwood’s only missed cut of the season, at the US Open, still saw him depart with $10,000 just for qualifying for the major in the first place.
His biggest cheque came at the Tour Championship where he scooped a staggering $10m top prize.
Elsewhere, Fleetwood has had a staggering 13 six-figure paydays.
All told, his 2025 earnings are currently $23,571,968.07.
