Johnson Taylor started off with a touchdown and then you know the next drive for the Chargers didn’t go anywhere. Colts get the ball back. Tyler Warren scores. Overall, the offense is playing phenomenal football. A lot of Colts fans wanted the Colts to try to get seven to end the half, but they still took control of the two-minute warning. The two-minute drill was immaculate after the Nick cross interception, settled for three, even though the Colts went seven, but the key was for the Colts to get the points last and not give them a chance to score at all. So, in overall totality, the Colts taking points and walking away with the half is something I wanted to see. Anyway, the objective was for the Chargers not to score at all because the Chargers get the ball in the second half. So, the objective was them not to get any points. Go in the second half, see if they can come out. The Chargers are losing by 20 right now at the moment. That’s a huge lead to come back from, but it’s a whole lot of time. So, the Colts having a comfortable lead and 20 points, it’s good. There might be a few drives where they don’t do anything, but like I said, you being up 20 besides 17, it’s it’s a good it’s a good advantage to have. So, it’s interesting to see how they’re going to come out in the second half, how aggressive they’re going to be in the approach. We know how the Colts played in the past, especially in the recent years coming in the second half lead. We talked about the Minnesota game, for example, having that big lead and then blowing it at the end. We’ve seen that happen before. But like I said, this Colts, they’re putting their foot on the pedal, being aggressive, drive, complete, polished offenses, things of that nature. The defense is playing pretty good. I would like to see the pass rush be a little bit more aggressive um than what we’re used to seeing. Like I said, they have been getting there, but they just haven’t been actually making stops. So, that’s something that needs to be adjusted going into the second half. They need to actually hit home on these plays um on Justin Herbert. Like, he’s having time to throw, make big plays after big plays. Teen Allen happens to be one of those guys that been making big plays on top of big plays. So, it’s going to be interesting to see how they approach that situation going into the second half being aggressive. Like I said, if the Chargers do get the ball to start the second half, but like I said, there’s enough time for the Colts to try to make an adjustment, make a read to see what they type of disguise they come out in or if they’re going to be aggressive, send more blitzes and things of that nature. We’ve seen interceptions from Grover Stewart and Nick Cross, which is amazing to see. Um, but the key objective going into the second half, my thoughts is how is the defense going to come out this uh second half? How are they going to play? Ken Allen has making huge splashes on the offense for Herbert, but he’s been his security blanket. So, and M Conley, too. So, it’s going to be interesting to see how that defense comes up. Kenny Moore has been wobbling around with the injury. Been he’s been there in coverage, but as you can see, he’s still lingering the injury. So, like I said, if the Colts go up a little bit more, please take them out the game just for safety purposes. But they’re playing good football right now.
