What is up my fellow golf ball addicts? Welcome back to the channel. Today we are continuing on the Volulvvic line. Let’s dive right in. I got another quad review for you. So, four golf balls, one review. Let’s do this. Guys, as always, thank you so much for watching this channel and being a part of this great community. The likes, the comments, the subscribes. I really appreciate it a lot. If you want to do more on this channel, if you want to contribute further, we do have a membership. It just starts at a dollar a month. And I did do a GoFundMe for those of you who can’t figure out the membership or don’t want to do something monthly with that. I I understand completely. It’s in the link in my description in the little link tree thing. You’ll see it. So, okay. So, continuing the Volulvvic line. So, we’re now on our third of four Volulvvic reviews. They have 16 different models. This has been crazy. Uh these are all your like uh intermediate kind of medium range golf balls that are all not quite urethane but you know they’re like $29.99. They’re kind of that middle ground or surlinin uh but they are all three-piece. So they’re not your basic beginner golf balls. They’re not your you know kind of medium value tour balls where they’re urethane. They’re kind of that in between where it’s it’s an ometer blend but still $29.99 if that makes sense. So, the four Volulvvic models we are reviewing today is the Vivid Combi and the Vivid Soft. These are matte finish golf balls. They come at a price point of $29.99 and $32.99 just on the opposite side. I mean, as you can see here, this is going to be very consistent. Um, if you just look over this page, these all come at a different variety of compressions, materials, sirin, ometer, you know, the price points are either either for your basic $29.99 or $32.99 for, you know, a half and half like combi design is what they call it. It reminds me of the Stricks and Qstar Divide. That’s the same kind of vibe, you know. Uh but when it comes to the vivid, those are matte finishes. When it comes to the crystal, those are crystal finishes. Crystal is essentially the kind of the shiny really glossy crystal looking finish. They do. It’s definitely a gloss, but it kind of has a little maybe a little glitter shine to it. It looks cool. They actually do look cool. I’ll show you here in a second. Also, looking on here, you can see they come in a variety of different colors. Um you know, you see down there at the bottom, you know, all the crystal finishes come in a variety pack. And then um or not the crystal, excuse me. The combi come in a variety pack and then it it’s really confusing to be honest with you. Uh but here’s what I will say. Volulvvic has been very very good about personality, different colors, different options. I I love that here too. Uh they have a bunch of options besides just your regular white or regular yellow. So if you’re into personality, that’s a good thing. So yeah, there we go. So, now that we know what these golf balls cost and kind of what they’re about in the beginning stages here, let’s go ahead and get out to the chipping and putting green and let’s see how they do around there. All right, starting with the Vivid Soft. So, two things real quick. One, no, I do not normally wear two gloves. I have blisters all over my hands right now from an illness and so it really hurts to grip the club and so that’s why I have them. I know you guys were going to ask about it. It’s the only reason I bring it up. Otherwise, I knew the comments would be flooded and I’d have a long night ahead of me answering all of them. So, anyway, just get that out of the way. Also, you know, you would think in le late September with it being, you know, even in Florida, you would think that the heat has kind of subdued, right? You know, now we’re at least in 80°ree days. Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. Oh, there we go. Okay. Really soft landing. One of the softest landings I’ve ever seen on a golf ball. There we go. Very nice. Very nice. It does have some bite. And what I also really like is the fact that it has that soft landing. When you combine that soft landing, even with just a little bit of bite as you can see where that ball is. I don’t know if you can see it, but it’s right next to the hole. I’m going to run that back. I want to see a little bit more. There you go. Very nice. Just gorgeous. That one did roll off to the back. There isn’t a ton of spin there. I mean, as far as spin and rotation, there’s not much there, but as far as bite and soft landing, it makes up for it. It’s actually very pleasant. Little duff bass effect. ball jumping around, which is good. It has bite, guys. It grips the green as far as the bite. Nice. Perfect. Yeah, I find myself coming up short. There’s no issues. That’s That’s actually a very rare case. That’s an example of a golf ball that even though the spin is going to be really low on the spin meter, it actually still will hold up fine. I think many people who are using it, it’s going to have bite. It’s going to have a soft landing. I don’t think you’re going to have too many issues with the golf ball rolling past the hole. In fact, out of six shots, I only saw a couple, and that’s because I hit them too hard. So, that’s really impressive. Again, really soft. Not as soft of a landing, no bite, no grip, and the ball shot to the back of the green. So, even though those golf balls, like I said, are very similar, they don’t act similar. They may sound similar, they may feel similar, but how they hit the green is not similar. That was actually a really good strike, and I was disappointed in the roll out. One more time. Another good hit. Yeah, just nothing. It kind of acted like it had some, you know, it wanted to treadmill effect. Just absolutely shot to the back. One more time. I’m going to try to open the face a little and put a little less on it. So, not bad. You know, if you open the face, you take a little off of it, you hit it absolutely perfect. Yeah, you can kind But that’s too much for me on soft, forgiving golf balls like this where they’re not as high price. They’re not tour balls. I expect them to be a little more forgiving than that. I I don’t like the fact that so many things have to line up. Uh I’m going to try to close the face here. Get some left spin. Nope. Not an ounce. Not even a little bit. That ball stayed straight, which can be a good thing for some of you. Perfect hit. I perfect hit. Zero stopping power, zero tug. It was going so fast it just rolled over the top of the hole like it was concrete. So, not happy with that. Okay. Well, no rotation. Uh, loud. I don’t know if you heard that. Holy cow, that’s loud. The other two were dead soft. Didn’t hear it. Didn’t feel it. That I felt in the hands despite two rain gloves. But also, I mean, just no rotation, which is disappointing. So, I really hope that was a minor mishit. No, that one I hit a spinner and tried to cut it and you could see the rotation and the rotation was there, but it just didn’t have any tug and so it wasn’t able to use that rotation properly. Oh, come on. Right to the hole. No, unfortunately not. I mean, there’s a tiny bit there because you can see just a little bit of bass effect, but as far as tugging power, I mean, that last one was hit pure. That first one was hit pure and they shot to the back of the green like nobody’s business. So, no loud click again. It just it that was such a nice hit. I really hoped it had some type of tug and it just doesn’t. I mean, that right there is as spinny as I can hit a golf ball. Nice low spinner, perfect strike. As you saw, it was right at the flat, right at the hole, but there was no tug. There was no spin. And because of that, it came in too hot, hit the pin, and just went a different direction. I’m going to try a cut here. Just kind of open the face. Nice. Good rotation. Nothing. Nothing at all. I’ll try one more time. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. So, so right there, wasn’t aiming at the hole. Open the face. Deep cut. Just trying to get it to rotate right. No. Um, if you’re someone who wants consistency and you want just toward the hole and maybe you’re beginner, intermediate, bump and run golf ball, the last three are awesome. I would even say probably the the first one’s pretty good, too. But if you want rotation or bite at all to any degree right now, that first one I tested, the I’m so sorry I’m the names I’m getting confused on. The Vivid Soft, that right now is the best one of the three, not because of its rotation, but because of its soft landing and its grip it has on the green. And it at least offers some type of, you know, checkup. It It’s actually going to be better than that spin number says, like I said. All right. Vivid saw first. These have some great alignment tools. Okay. I did feel that actually. Holy cow. I really thought it was going to be bouncy ball. I thought it was going to go boing. And no, I mean, not even close. Good strike. Beautiful. Wow. Just a beautiful gentle press and kiss. It doesn’t have a crispy sound. It’s pretty, you know, low on the sound meter. Maybe a little hollow, but overall a really good sound. I mean, just just nice, soft, pleasant, you know, kind of like ASMR if someone’s speaking softly into a microphone. Okay. Feels a little heavy coming off the club. I would say the distance control is very similar to uh what I just experienced. Yep. I would say distance. Yep. 100% on distance control. Feel is medium for sure. Um and it feels heavy. I mean, it putts good. It’s just it’s not what I’m used to and I I’m just maybe it’s just not my cup of tea, but I mean, as far as putting, nine out of 10 roll, four out of five. Whatever. I’m sorry. Now we changed it. Uh but not bad. Hm. I’ll have to check the distance control. It might have gotten a little bit better. Yes, distance control on this one’s normal. It’s not slow like the other two. Um, also again, sound is pleasant. Uh, roll is really good. I want to verify this roll here. Yeah, five out of five on that roll. That’s really good. I like that ball. I do. I wish it had spun more, but I love the look of it. Boy, they all do feel and act kind of similar. I mean, there are like little, you know, subtle differences that really can make a difference because when it comes to putting, let’s be honest, details matter, but overall, they all do feel and kind of sound very similar. Very, you know, the sound especially all just like a really low subdued. That actually was excellent. Again, distance control with this one’s a little different. I actually mishit that and it still rolled well to the hole. I like that. It’s It’s That’s pleasant. That’s That’s pleasant. So, none of them bad. There’s no red flags here. Let’s move on to the blade. Let’s see if it’s any different. [Music] Nice. Uh, it wasn’t a perfect hit. Actually, it forgave me. I mis hit. Not bad. Again, kind of slow. It is kind of slow. Yes, it is. I I hit something here and it was confusing me, but yeah. No, that’s another five out of five roll. really good. Very pleasant. Again, it actually feels very close to the mallet. It just glides off the putter. You have to work a little more forward. It’s not got great distance control, but because of that, you get an excellent roll. It’s so consistent. I immediately have confidence. I like that red ball a lot. It’s across the whole green. It’s been really good. Nice. Yeah. Nice little pleasant sound there. That was really good. Yeah. Love that. Great roll. Again, a really solid roll. I mean, close to a five. I’m going to verify the parking here. Nah, four out of five on the roll. Very close, though. I mean, very borderline. Very good. Oh, that’s really heavy. Hey, cool. I’ll take that. It’s It’s really really heavy. Uh, a lot of chug effect as well, uh, coming off the putter. So, let’s see here. Mishit it. Still some chug. Not as much, but still. Yeah. Just not liking the feel, which is a shame cuz I love this golf ball. Three out of five on the roll. Feel is med, you know, just normal face. It’s okay. Yeah. I just don’t like the way it comes off the blade putter. Mallet was a lot better, but blade nah. Very nice. Yep. Again. And again, the final two with distance control is normal. the vivid soft and the kind of divide looking version. That’s actually I mean the two matte golf balls essentially the two matte golf balls actually come up short which a lot of you have said in the comments that that’s been kind of a thing. I just did a video on this recently. A lot of you said your putts were coming up short. I’m experiencing the same thing. So just keep that in mind. It’s one of those things where hey I I got the good roll because of it. But yeah. Oh come on now. You’re embarrassing me in front of the community. It’s funny. It just got done raining about 20 minutes ago, so you could probably see the water fly up. So, normally normally in a situation like this, I would have to like dry this mat out and hit all the water out of it and it would be But since we’re just doing a field test, it’s just feel anyway. So, yeah, it actually feels like it has some power behind it. That’s really good. Four out of five on pure hits. I really like it. Uh not a lot of bouncy ball, per se, but a lot of firm power, which is kind of nice. Yeah, slight mis hit there. Still good. It just feels a little more heavy. It doesn’t really punish you. It just feels like kind of like how your child if you ever have kids and you try to like lift them up and they go limp, how much heavier they get. That’s kind of what it felt like. But still solid three on m hits. Not bad. Oh yeah. Three out of fives for pure hits. The best I can do. It’s It’s just got this loud hollow click. It’s almost like I’m hitting a wooden golf ball just a little bit. That’s kind of what it reminds me of. So, not a big fan there. Let’s try a mishit and see. It’s like a two and a half. So, I’ll bump it up to the three. So, it’s three regardless. But, yeah. Okay. So, that’s a mishit and that’s like a two out of five. That’s That’s a little bit off the toe. And I mean, it was firm. It was hard. It didn’t come off the club very nice. it it felt like I lost a lot of distance on that for sure. Then I strike one pure and it’s the complete opposite. It’s a It’s a solid four out of five, three and a half, four out of five. Just explodes toward the target. So keep that in mind. That’s a huge difference on this one between the pure hit and the mit. Oh, very pleasant. Yeah, I need to verify the parking. That was very nice. Very explosive. Again, not eye eye opening, you know, but I mean, yeah, solid. I dig that. Yeah, four out of five. Yeah, solid three out of five. Not bad. I just lost some power. That’s all it really was. Still felt really good. It was just nice. Hey, man, you mis hit it, but I lost a lot of power. I think, you know, forgiveness. We’ll have to check the numbers on that golf ball. But overall, not bad. Again, that’s kind of what Volulvvic’s been doing this whole time is a lot of their stuff is either good, just slightly above average or around that average. Nothing’s been bad. Nothing’s been terrible, but nothing’s been awesome either. And so, they’re hovering around this like seven out of 10, 6 out of 10 good, which I mean, I guess that works. You know, there’s a market for that. All right, let’s talk some data. Now, we’re going to start with the 50 yard pitch. As always, this is going to be backspin RPM as well as launch angle. Starting with the far left over here, you can see this is the Volulvvic Vivid Soft. 6,467. That is well below average. 33.4 on your launch angles. Extremely high. Then we get to the Vivid Combi, uh, which is 7,66, about 1,000 RPM below my average, 29 on the launch angle. So, both of those not very good. The Matte golf balls just are not spinning as much. And I’ll touch more on that in just a second. Uh, the Volulvvic uh, Crystal Combi 8,131. really good there. Just slightly above average, 29.8. Very respectable launch. A little high. Uh 8575 with the Crystal Soft 26. That’s That’s very optimal. Uh the 26.7 and the 8500 are both excellent numbers. Very optimal for what I’m looking for. Love to see that. Now, I just recently did a video. This is what it looks like here. And I talked about the big difference between the matte finish golf balls that I’ve seen that no one talks about. And long story short, I talked about the spin consistency, right? You know, I hit a 50-yard pitch shot and it’s 7500 and then I hit another one and it’s 7,000. Well, with this golf ball because it’s matte and like I see it in a lot of other matte golf balls, it was like 2,000 6,000 3,000 7,000 3,000 3,000 4,000 and it’s like it’s just it’s just insane. But I’ve seen that with a couple different Volvo models as well as just these uh matte options in general. So, what that ends up happening is is you get the 6467, you get the 7,66. Actually, to be honest with you, that 7,66 is pretty impressive considering how bad it could have been. So, that’s why those numbers are low. It’s disappointing, but hey, let’s let’s move on. Next up, we have the pitching wedge. And we’re looking here. Again, these are all in the same order. Starting with the vivid soft on the left. Uh, you know, we have a lot of average. We have average average. Now, the crystal combi actually a really respectable number, 97.1, the only green out of the bunch. Uh, the rest of them are going to be average. Then when we get down to club speed, you know, okay, I kept it pretty good. We’ll look at smash factor here in a moment as well. Uh, now spin RPM, this is a big one, you know, with the vivid on there on the far left, 5411. That’s one of the lowest I’ve seen, if not the lowest this year. I mean, it just did not want to spin. It wanted to launch really, really high to try to make up for it. uh just not an optimal performance at all. There’s not too many golfers that are going to benefit from that. 7,628 though is an awesome spin number, but it might actually be too much. I mean, I’ll be real with you. I lost a lot of distance. The distance is in the red down there. I like having a lot of spin, but too much of it, and that’s kind of what you see is a loss of distance. So, it it’s okay. You know, all those numbers kind of just are are orange or, you know, uh yellow, excuse me. They’re just not great. I like the smash factor, though. Average there. Now, when it comes to the combi, as you can see there, we have, you know, green in the ball speed. We have, you know, a mid uh spin, which is great. And then green and green in the distance, which I love to see. And then actually just kind of a mid, you know, uh smash factor. But I love the green and distance and the green and ball speed. Those are all awesome. And then when we get to the crystal soft, uh you know, again, just average average throughout. And then actually a surprisingly a red smash factor. I wonder how that works. Uh so unfortunately, this is kind of the problem we’ve run into with Volulvvic so far. If you’ve been keeping up with these reviews, um Volulvvic really doesn’t do too much stuff bad. Uh there’s nothing below average, but the problem is it’s so difficult to find any of the numbers just eyepopping, right? It’s just it’s always seems to be average. You know, I test four golf balls from Volvik and there’ll be that one that has pretty good ball speed or that one that has a little bit more spin. What would make this even funnier is if we get to the driver and the driver performance is awesome because that’s how it’s been throughout the whole process so far when it comes to these Velvet golf balls. They always test, you know, okay, okay, okay, okay. And then they get to driver and everything’s in the green. So, we’ll see that. We’ll see if that’s coming up. Uh, but we got to get to seven iron first. So, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Seven iron. Okay. So, we do have one here that’s actually all in the green. Uh, which is very surprising, but I love to see it. So, the vivid combi actually, even though barely barely counts, all green in there, really great. You know, the vivid when it comes to the soft model, really low spin again, just ridiculously low. Uh, yes, I increased distance. I don’t care. That that low spin isn’t going to help too many people, especially cuz the ball speed was almost below average. It was hovering on that yellow line. So, even though it says yellow, it’s close to being a red. Then we get to the crystal combi. Everything is nice and yellow in there. It’s actually on the high side of yellow, almost green. So, I love to see that. And then the Crystal Soft, you know, in between there, really good spin, the highest spin out of all of them. But, uh, distance-wise, you know, kind of eh, you know, smash factor wise, it just, you know, again, a lot of this, right? I mean, that’s just kind of where we’re at is there just a lot of that. Um, what do you want me to say? Anyway, we’re getting into the driver now. Let’s go ahead and do this. And as you can see there, yeah, it’s pretty much all green. I I don’t understand why Volvo does this. I mean, we’ll talk about it more here in just a second and my conclusion, but uh long story short, the 145.7 is absolutely incredible. The 144.5 is absolutely incredible. 143.2 is above average and awesome. 143.6 is above average and awesome. You know, spin- wise, they’re all mid except for the one that’s just a little bit above mid. Uh just barely. Uh but 2387, you know, the launch angles are all over the place, which is good. I have a really high one with the vivid soft, but then a really low one with the combi and then two mids right there. All the numbers are above average. Smash factors are great except for the crystal soft on the end. It’s just average, but still that’s that’s by far the best of the junction. Yeah. Again, it’s just this is how almost every volulvvic has been so far is it’s just a lot of like Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You’re flipping the pages. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And you’re like, whoa, wait a minute. Whoa. What was that? It’s kind of like when you were a kid and you got like the little, you know, flyer and you’re scrolling through, you know, you’re going through and it’s like tools, appliances, yada yada, and then you get to the toy section and you’re like, “Oh, wait a minute. Here’s a toy. Hold on. This is what I like.” That’s kind of what’s been going on. And look, is it cool that they have great driver performances? Like some of the top best, you know, I’ve seen this year, top 10%. Yeah, that’s great. But this is what I pound the table on all the time. And at this point, five years later, golf ball addicts, we know this. You can’t just have good driver numbers. You can’t just have good focusing driver numbers. There’s a lot of clubs in your bag. There’s 14 of them. So, having a great performance with one or even two, awesome. What about the rest of the 12 or the 13? And I It’s just one of those things where it just feels like I’m kind of repeating myself every time I do a Volulvvic review. It just feels like I guess maybe the main draw to a Volulvvic is these designs. you know, if you want the cool designs or the crystal because I I I’ll admit designwise, I’m 10 out of 10 impressed. Their designs are fun, innovative. The rainbow road we just got doing where it had like the rainbow 360 and, you know, the crystal. I don’t know. Anyway, let’s get over to the dispersion chart. Let’s see how that is. All right, so starting with the vivid soft, looking at the 50-yard pitch. For the most part, it’s pretty good. There’s a couple stray ones there, but that’s kind of common with the whole Matt golf ball thing, so it is what it is. When we get to the pitching wedge, however, I do like that accuracy is, you know, pretty good for the most part, but I love those six or seven that are right there in that tiny little circle. There’s some really good distance control there. Love to see that. Seven iron, well, let’s just not talk about the seven iron. It’s not that great, unfortunately. Accuracy isn’t that great as well as distance control. It’s all over the place. Uh it would be very hard to get consistent with that. But then when we go to the driver, it’s the complete opposite. All those are in the fairway. All those look really good. Uh that’s actually really, really impressive as a whole. So, you know, consistency and accuracy is one thing with Matt golf balls. I sometimes have a little bit of a yellow flag or red flag with. Not the case here. All right. Next up, we have the vivid combi. And again, 50-yard pitch looks really good. There’s a random one out there. I don’t know what happened there, but uh anyway, nine out of 10 are awesome. Pitching wedge again looks really good. No red flags there. Seven iron h pretty good for the most part. Definitely better than the soft. Uh we’ll definitely get the job done. But then when we look at the driver, driver is a little bit worse than the previous model. You know, again, are there any red flags there? No. I mean, there’s a couple yellow. It’s okay. I would just call it kind of average throughout. I would say when it comes to the shorter clubs, though, there is some really good accuracy and consistency there. Then we get to the crystal combi. And I got to say this might be the best so far. Accuracy with the 50-yard pitch is topnotch, but distance control is kind of all over the place. Pitching wedge is fantastic. Seven iron looks really good. I mean, really, really good. And then driver, my goodness gracious, have I just become a lot more better with the driver as this year’s gone out because holy cow, guys, that’s not only all on the fairway. That’s like all within 15 yards of each other. That’s fantastic. So, five out of five with that driver for sure. That’s much better. Uh we have one more to go. I’m hoping it’s really good. And that last one is the Crystal Soft. Got to say 50 yard pitch still looks really good. Really consistent there. Uh pitching wedge is eh this is probably one of the worst pitching wedge I’ve seen so far from the group. Uh, seven iron’s not bad. It’s okay. But driver, oh my goodness, I love it. I love these driver. Again, it’s the volulvvic effect. I’m telling you, Volulvvic when it comes to the driver is just fantastic. It’s just it’s an anomaly, man. It’s just incredible. And and it just everything else is like either okay or good. But, I mean, look at the dispersion on these. You know, the four we’ve seen, they’ve just all been amazing. I think the worst one was just a really good. I mean, come on. Last but not least, let’s talk about some durability here. We’re going to start, of course, with the Vivid Soft. Um, you know, matte golf balls. I I also mentioned it during that same video I told you about earlier about how these golf balls always have 10 out of 10 durability, and this one’s no different. Looking at it, I can’t even tell it’s been hit. If I if I took that dirt spot that you see there and just kind of, you know, with my thumb. Yep. I I did that. Um, yeah. 10 out of 10. I can’t even I can’t even tell. Next up, we have the other matte golf ball, which is the Combi. Looking at it, um, yeah, again, really really good. I mean, the the the cover hides a lot of the blemishes, but if I actually ran this under a faucet and just cleaned it or even grabbed a wet rag and just cleaned it off real quick, it would just look absolutely immaculate. Uh there’s no paint. There’s a tiny bit of paint fading. But let’s be real, after 80 shots, if that’s all I can come up with, that’s a 10. Then we get to the crystal combi. Again, this is a beautiful looking golf ball, and you can’t even tell I’ve hit it. I mean, it’s just it has no abrasions when I feel it all over. It just feels nice and smooth. smooth. I mean, there’s no paint missing. Another 10 out of 10. Wow. Um, did I grab the right balls? And then the Crystal Soft is really no different. I mean, you can see some scuffs and like some places where I hit it. But as far as feeling the golf ball, it feels absolutely immaculate. It looks great all over. There’s no wear and tear. There’s no damage. Uh there’s no paint missing. If I look on the side where the alignment tool is, I can see some paint kind of fading a little bit on the edges. You know, just who cares? 10 out of 10. My goodness. Like all those golf balls, you can’t even tell they’ve been hit. I That’s impressive. So, I’m actually glad that happened. I’m glad because, you know, I just talked all that kind of trash a little bit about, you know, hey, you’re a onetrick pony. You’re That’s impressive. You know, the fact that for 30 bucks a dozen, you are getting a golf ball. It’s really good off the driver and also a 10 out of 10 durability across the board there. I respect that. So, that’s that’s a good way to stick it to me and come back. Two thumbs up from the golf ball addict. Okay, so final thoughts. Um, you know, I are these golf balls for anyone? I I’ll be real with you. I’ve tested a ton of golf balls and I just don’t see these outperforming as far as the performance metrics a lot of the golf balls we test, you know, cuz there’s a lot of golf balls that perform really well with the driver, but also really well with the seven and also really well with the pitching wedge and really well, you know, across the board. Um, these golf balls, I think, really are kind of more of the gimmick. And I don’t mean gimmick as a four-letter word here. I mean gimmick is like if you’re someone who likes the Star Wars stuff, if you like the Disney collabs, if you like a blue ball that looks like Captain America and it makes you smile when you’re on the course, they’re good enough to play with. Absolutely. They’re good enough to play with. They’re not going to hinder your game a ton. Do I think these are going to like be fitting for a lot of golfers where you go in and you’re like, “Oh, hey, you know what? I got fitted for the Vulva.” No, I just don’t think you will cuz I think there’s too many good options. As always, keep watching. Keep saving, keep learning. Until next time.

Great review, thanks as always. I’m sorry if you’ve said it before, but will you be doing one on the new Warbird Distance+ before the end of the year? Really curious based on the Today’s Golfer review. Still looking for that magic $20-30 ball that is soft, highly forgiving, and good short game spin.
Hopefully i get to see a Nexgen review. I hear on launch monitor they are going toe to toe with the left dash in terms of numbers
What??! Confused with the names? It’s not like they’ve churned out 30 versions with nearly identical names or anything.
Great job, the Combi white and yellow look cool thanks
Nick…. Sorry about the hands. Hope they get better soon. How much land do you own? I see the green and then the hitting net on the other side of the fence. Just curious and nosy. 😊
Spot on, Nick. “Gimmick” is the best word for Volvik golf balls.
I'm unsubscribing. Can't deal with this Volvik negativity man, sorry. Bye!!
J/k 😂
Granted, I am playing an older model, I'm gonna pick these up and see if it's different for me, but man I love my Vivid I've been playing. It's been my favorite ball of the year for sure. Maybe it's because I'm getting good driver results and everything else feels…the same or close enough to it? Idk. I'm gonna keep playing it for now! That and Caiton have been my top 2. I'm also a faster than average swinger though so that could be a difference as well. Who knows.
You the man dude!
Great review, as always, sir!
Glad you reviewed them. I bought the soft and I thought they were ok. I love the alignment tool.
Great review.
Thanks Nick, good information. Lots of other balls you have reviewed that seem better!!
Volvik golf balls are over priced and quality is average at best. All the golfers I know and play with would never play Volvik. I think it's time to retest the Wright and ditson ball again.
Is either putter your gamer?
I considered getting Volviks for my Winter golf balls for here in the UK as I had a source of cheapish new ones ended up with the new Kirkland V3.5 and the 3 piece Legato £30 off Amazon! I saw there is a 4 piece Legato but cant recall if you tested it Nick? I’ll need to look back, just out of curiosity, not for use!
Your kids gave you hand foot and mouth too? I kid, but another good review. I'm looking forward to their more tour options.
Nick, as always a great review packed with data and facts. I love your testing process. This is the 2nd round of Volvik balls I've seen tested and again besides the driver, nothing but an average "at best" performance. I really want to like these golf balls, especially for their individuality but the ball has to be a golf ball first. Thanks again Nick!
Feel better Nick! Another great review!
I
on – nomurThese seem just okay.. they aren’t really bringing anything to the table here. Too many models, too average. I think they need to rethink their business model. Nix all these ones in here that Nick didn’t like. And see if they can improve a few to stand out.
Found 2 sleeves of 25 year old Titleist DT90 in my garage and played them yesterday! Lost 10 yards on drives and unforgiving on miss hits. Otherwise, they played pretty good – heavy and dead on putts but I was getting up and down consistently.
I mean…. You have reviewed worse.
Faint praise is better than none.
Should call them Volvik what spin ?
