Williamsburg, Va. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s golf team posted a 10th place finish at The Melee, finishing Monday with a two-day total of 626 (+58).
The Ducks finished seven shots back of Kean (+49, 617), two shots back of Christopher Newport’s B team (+56, 624), and 30 shots clear of Ursinus (+88, 656)
Christopher Newport’s A team won the event with a total of 579 (+11), Bridgewater finished six shots back, and Salisbury took third at +20 (588).
The team’s total round of 310 strokes Monday was the seventh-lowest of all competing institutions.
FROM THE COURSE
Udyat Sarangdevot and Noah Eide carded a pair of 76’s, sharing the team’s low round of the day (and event). Sarangdevot matched his 76 from Sunday, playing his final four holes one-under and finishing in a tie for 22nd at +10 (152 strokes); Eide shaved three shots off his Sunday round, parring 13 holes and finishing in a tie for 35th (+13, 155).
Dillon Kim shot 77 after firing 82 on Sunday, birdieing the 18th hole, carding a two-day 159 (+17), tying for 44th.
Bryce Karty shot 81 on Monday, playing the back nine just two over including a birdie at the par-four 17th, ending the event in 47th place (+18, 160)
Luke Snyder parred seven holes Monday while knocking three strokes off his 86 Sunday, finishing in a tie for 54th place with a two-day 169 (+27).
UP NEXT
The Ducks will return to official competition after the New Year for the Spring portion of their 2025-26 season.
