Our Vietnam Pre-wedding Photoshoot Vlog!

So today is a very special day because we’re doing our pre-wedding photo shoot here in Vietnam. I thought it would be interesting for you to be with us on this journey. The pre-wedding photo shoot we picked was an outdoor one. So we’ll be shooting all day at four beautiful spots that we chose around Daang and Hoyan. It’s exciting and it’s very tiring. I can tell you that. Is it worth it? Stick around and watch until the end of this video. short intro, but hope you guys will enjoy it. Before we get to the main part, let me give you a bit of the context on why pre-wedding photo shoots are such a big thing in Vietnam nowadays. Well, in my home country, many couples take their wedding photos before the actual celebration. So, we can display the pictures at the reception or on a big screen during the wedding party. And depending on the budget and personal preference, couples might choose to shoot in a studio, go out for an outdoor session, or even travel to different places across Vietnam or even around the world for their dream shots. And for us, our dream locations are in Daang and Hoya. So, we don’t need to travel too far since we live here. Okay. I feel like I’m a birthday cake. Yeah, birthday cake. By the way, when our little train and mom first heard about this photo shoot, she was a bit worried because traditionally over there, the groom isn’t supposed to see the bride’s dress before the wedding day. But once she knew the dresses were different from my real wedding gown, she felt so much better and was actually looking forward to see the photos as well. Looked at it less. I liked it. I think this one was good. And in the end, I picked three dresses and one out yai, while Cash choose two suits and one out yai, too. It was definitely easier for him because somehow the groom’s outfits are simpler than the bride’s one. And if you are ever worried about the size, don’t be because they can adjust everything for you. You just need to stop by a day before the shoots to try them on. One more time. [Applause] Are you saying today is finally the day? Well, I woke up super early and arrived at the studio at 3:15 a.m. for my bridal makeup. It sounds a bit crazy, but it actually makes sense because we had to get ready for the sunrise photo shoot at the beach. The makeup artist is putting a lot of layers on my face to make sure that this beautiful makeup is going to last the entire day. And this was my face when the makeup tone turned out way too white compared to my skin. And this is my fiances trying to calm me down when he saw my face. Actually, he was shocked too when he first arrived here. By the way, he arrived here at around 4:15 for the groom’s preparation as well. And then this is my face after she toned the color down much closer to my natural skin tone. I really appreciate the work of the artist because she has been working so hard to make everything perfect, even down to every single strand of my hair. Now, I’ll be the star of the movie. I’m hoping it won’t take as long as it took for my beautiful fiance to get ready. Yay! Let’s go to the first stop. We are heading to Mong Thai Beach in Daang for sunrise. This is such a typical slice of life in Vietnam around 5:00 a.m. Lots of locals exercising, walking, and even starting the day very early. And you know what we prayed for the most today? It’s the weather. That’s the only thing we were really concerned about when choosing this pre-wedding photo package. All right, let’s roll. One, two, three. Action. One more. [Music] I’ve changed into this new dress and our makeup artist is fixing my hair while I try to get some energy from a cup of sugar cane juice and still trying to recover from only 2 and 1/2 hours of sleep last night. And the dress is pretty tight. So, we are loosening it a bit so I can actually breathe. And here’s our awesome crew. And this is my groom just chilling while waiting for us. [Music] Here we’ve got an empty bottle of champagne, an energy drink pretending to be champagne, and some flowers to complete the look. One, two, three. Action. Two, three. [Music] One more game. [Music] [Music] Hello from Hoya Nation Town of Vietnam. We are currently at a local restaurant trying to get ready for another photo shoot of the morning. It’s close to noon now, so the temperatures rising very fast and we are already pretty exhausted from of this morning. But we can do this. Well, in Hoya, the best time for photo shoots with fewer people is actually early in the morning. But the good thing is here, every corner of this town is so picturesque. Therefore, we don’t need to wander too far. [Music] At lunchtime, our crew drove back to Daang and we invited everyone to have lunch with us at one of our favorite local restaurants. And here we are again back at the studio for a quick makeup and hairstyle touchup. One last outfit change for the final session of the day. At this point, everyone’s feeling super excited because the day is almost done. All right, let’s do it. Look at me. I’m getting hot. No, you’re getting stressed. Okay. One, two, three. Look at the in front of us, honey. It’s wonderful. What do you think, honey? It’s wonderful. Let’s go explore. Will you take these flowers from me and my proposal? Are you [Music] very good? the camera. So happy happy out. I am crazy. One, two, three. [Music] Before this, I thought we’ll just take our photos on our actual wedding day. But now, I’m so glad that we did this early. The wedding day was actually a bit busy. And these photos became something extra special to share with our family and friends and the guest as well. Heat. Heat.
