They may not be pros, but YouTube golf is officially part of the PGA Tour.

Starting next year, the popular golf brand Good Good Golf will team up with the PGA Tour for a fall event — the Good Good Championship in Austin, Texas. It will take place the week of Nov. 9-15, 2026 at Omni Barton Creek.

Good Good, with 1.97 million subscribers on its main YouTube channel, has gone from a bunch of 20-somethings starting a feed five years ago to one of the biggest entertainment brands in golf. After a $45 million fundraise in Spring 2024, the company has added live events that aired on Peacock, Golf Channel and YouTube. Creator golf content has become one of the fastest-growing industries in sport, with Good Good, Bob Does Sports, Fore Play and Grant Horvat, among others, at the center of it.

Professional golf leagues have been in a mini-arms race to meet these audiences where they are. The PGA Tour has hosted multiple “Creator Classic” events the day before its biggest tournaments, and LIV Golf has “The Duel” events where its golfers pair with content creators in a competition.

Now, Good Good is sponsoring an actual full-field PGA Tour event with 120 players and 500 FedEx Cup points to the winner. It’s a multi-year agreement, and the tournament will air on Golf Channel in addition to the tour’s usual partners like ESPN+, Sirius XM and the World Feed.

“This tournament is designed to amalgamate our social and live communities together, across all demographics that are passionate about golf, said Matt Kendrick, founder and CEO of Good Good Golf. “We couldn’t ask for better partners in the PGA Tour and Omni Hotels & Resorts, who not only appreciate our ethos but embrace it.”

It also marks a return to Austin, the city that hosted the tour’s annual match play event from 2016-2023 before taking the tournament off the schedule. But instead of Austin Country Club, the Good Good Championship will be at Tom Fazio’s Canyons Course, which he finished renovating in 2019.

“The PGA Tour is proud to return to the great City of Austin for the first time since 2023 for the Good Good Championship, an exciting new event as part of the FedExCup Fall,” PGA Tour Chief Communications Officer Tyler Dennis said. “We are pleased to partner with Good Good Golf and Omni Hotels & Resorts on this unique event as the PGA Tour further connects and engages with our game’s younger fans.”
