The Basics
The ULM women’s golf team is traveling to The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State and held at the Old Waverly Golf Club. The 54-hole event will include a round of competition Monday (Oct. 20), Tuesday (Oct. 21) and Wednesday (Oct. 22).

About the Course
The Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi holds an 18-hole course, playing at approximately 7,088 yards. The 72-par course, opened in 1988, is continuously ranked as one of the most unique private clubs in the nation. Old Waverly has been host to the 1994 and 2007 SEC Women’s Championship, 1999 U.S. Women’s Open and 2019 U.S. Women’s Amateur.

Previously
ULM previously competed in the Lady Red Wolves Classic, winning the team title by 20 strokes. Individual title winner Tessa Ion also saw her first career individual win after sinking a hole-in-one in the final round. Ion’s win also got her the claim to Sun Belt Women’s Golfer of the Week. It was the second-straight year of ULM claiming victory at the Lady Red Wolves Classic.
 
Up Next
The ULM women’s golf team, now having concluded its fall season, will pick back up in the spring. The Warhawks will open up on February 16, competing in the Great River Cup, hosted by ULM, in Gulfport, Mississippi.
