I hope you’ve had a successful summer of golf, but it really doesn’t need to end there. In this video, we’re going to run through the 10 essential winter golf items to keep you playing your best throughout the off season. We’re here at the beautiful North Golf Club where I’m going to take you through those items. Let’s get into it. Now, the first item I feel like is an essential with winter golf is colored golf balls. Now, I might get a lot of thick this because I know people are traditionalists and might like using a white ball, but a yellow ball really does help when searching for your ball, especially in the thick, wet rough that we get here in the UK. It’s also great to see off the tea. Often the skies are quite gray and gloomy here in the winter. Of course, we’ve picked the perfect day to be filming when there’s actually blue skies, but when you do have gray skies, seeing that ball flight throughout the air is so much easier with a bright colored ball. See, I told you it was easy to find your ball. That was the tailor made TP5 that I’ve hit there. They also offer it obviously in TP5X. So, you do have the option of choosing a premium golf ball that also has plenty of color. I’m predominantly a cap guy on the golf course and when there is bright sunshine like this, you may opt still for a cap, but I do think a woolly hat is essential. This is the Adidas pom beanie and I really like it cuz it has a really soft fleece lining inside to keep your ears nice and warm. And I just really like the two-tone color design. So remember, if you like this product or any of the other products that you’re going to see in this video, I’m going to put the handy links in the description box down below for the best prices in your area. Having a flask with you on the golf course in the winter is a serious must when it comes to staying warm. Whether you’re putting a hot chocolate, a tea, or a coffee in there, it could be the difference between getting around the back n in level twos or falling apart cuz you simply can’t take the cold anymore. This is a Yeti tumbler and I really love the brand. They help keep my drinks boiling hot throughout my round and who knows, you might even slip something else in there to enjoy with your playing partners. [Music] There’s nothing worse than being stuck out on the golf course when the rain rolls in and you don’t have one of these wrapped up in your bag ready to put on. This is the Juice Pro 3L jacket. And what I love about this jacket is how breathable it is. So you don’t start sweating on those milder days, but it is still raining and it’s super stretchy. So throughout your swing, you’re not restricted at all like some other jackets out there. [Music] [Applause] Now, mittens are arguably the most essential winter golf item to keep in your bag this year. They’re perfect for keeping your hands warm between shots, as obviously your hands are the only point of contact between yourself and the club. I really like these King Cobra mittens. They keep my hands nice and warm due to the fleece lining on the inside. They’re oversized as well, so you could fit some hand warmers in there. But they also have this waterproof padding on the front here, so even if you push a trolley, no moisture is likely to get in. I’m here at the 16th hole now, and I’ve caught the group in front of me up. It’s cold. I’m taking shelter from the wind in the little hut here. I think now’s the time to break out the hand warmers. These are brilliant. They last up to 10 hours. I’ll slide them into my pockets. And who knows, when I step onto the next t, I might actually even put them in my mittens for complete luxury and warmth. They might even heat my putter up as well. Now, this one’s pretty self-explanatory, but having a decent pair of waterproof shoes is a must in the winter to keep your feet dry from not only the rain, but the dew on the ground as well. Most decent waterproof golf shoes are made from leather. And they not only keep your feet dry, but also really warm as well, like these Puma Royale. They do come with a waterproof 1-year guarantee. However, I’m not sure these are going to be looking as white come the spring. [Music] Now, keeping your grooves clean in the winter is essential to hitting consistent golf shots. I know it feels like you want to rush back in under the umbrella when it’s pouring down with rain, but making sure that your grooves are clean will help you ensure consistent contact and ball flight. And the best way to do that is having a waterproof double-sided towel. This is the Tightless Stay Dry towel. And not only does it just slot on over your clubs like that, acting as a waterproof cover, you also have a microfiber towel on the inside to make sure that your grips stay dry, but also this little panel here that acts as a little brush to make sure that you don’t dirty the rest of your towel. Who knows, it might be the difference between the driver staying in your hands throughout your swing and not. Okay, so the Snood is one of those items that you didn’t know how much you needed it until you put one on. Now, this is the Under Armour Storm Snood. And what I love about these is the fleece lining on the inside, but they also have this panel that runs across the front that is extremely breathable. So, if you’ve got a large enough snood like this, you can put it on and it will actually cover up to your nose and your mouth, keeping your nose warm in cold conditions, as well as your lips from getting chapped when the wind picks up. Now, the next winter essential item you’re going to want to have is a base layer. This is the Puma Cloud Spun Tech base layer. And what I love about this is how soft it is on the inside, but also stretchy enough that I don’t feel restricted. A base layer is perfect for keeping you warm without adding bulk. So partner with this, a polo and a gi like I’m wearing today, and you’re going to stay nice and mobile throughout your swing, but also staying really warm on the course this winter. So there you have it. There the 10 essential winter golf items that I feel you need to play your best golf throughout this offseason. And be sure to let me know in the comments if I’ve missed any items that you feel should have been in this video. I’m sure I’ve missed a couple. But anyway, that’s all from me at Northance Golf Club. We’ll see you next time. [Music]

I find it more difficult to find colored balls after the fall because of all the colored leaves. White balls stand out more unless you are playing in the snow. 🤣🤣
I like to go in a box of straw for winter, and then be woken up when the winter greens are put away. No winter golf for me
Awesome! Just bought the titleist towel. So handy to have the club cover readily to hand, for on and off rain. Beats rummaging around in the bag for the actual bag cover. Thank you!
