HAMMOND, La. –The Southeastern Louisiana University men’s golf team will look to close out the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule on a high note, traveling to the LaTour Intercollegiate, which runs Monday and Tuesday at LaTour Golf Club in Mathews, La.
 
The opening two rounds of the tournament are set for Monday with the final round scheduled for Tuesday. Live scoring, provided by host Nicholls, will be accessible via the men’s golf schedule page at www.LionSports.net.
 

Southeastern and the host Colonels are two of six Southland Conference schools among the 14-team field, along with New Orleans, HCU, UIW and East Texas A&M. Loyola, Spring Hill, Southern, Prairie View, Midland College, South Dakota, Texas Southern and Jackson State round out the tournament participants.
 
SLU shot two-under par on the way to a second-place finish at last week’s Turtle Point Invite. Gavin Ingram was the Lions’ top performer in the tournament, finishing eight-under par for the week on the way to a sixth-place finish.
 
Ingram and Patrick Blaum will be back in the starting five for the second straight week. Lorenzo Palmieri, who competed as an individual in last week’s tournament, will represent SLU and will be joined in the lineup by Griffin Dorr and Landen East. Colby Sullivan will compete as an individual in the fall finale.  
 
Southeastern will open the spring portion of its 2025-26 slate at the Bentwater Intercollegiate, scheduled for Feb. 9-10 in Montgomery, Texas.
