I hate these shots. Why? This is like my worst nightmare. I I just find shots that are very challenging when you’ve got to go up hills, elevation changes of different types of grass and different grains, not got a lot of green to work with. Instantly grab my putter. You’d pack this 100% would put it. But I could stand here now and if you gave me 10 shots, I could quite easily hit two within a couple of feet, right? And they look like proper golf shots. But it won’t surprise me if I hit some that don’t get up the hill, I’ll thin a few long where if you gave me 10 puts from here, I’m going to get it on the green every time. Yeah. You’re playing a numbers game. So you think you can putt 10 balls inside an area or you’ll probably two putt a a high percentage of these as opposed to getting up and down. Yeah. It amazes me how how a golfer that is arguably a great golfer fears a shot that actually should be relatively simple. It’s frustrating. I don’t want to hit a put. But it’s like you say, it’s it’s either scar tissue.

  1. Nice to hear Rick being honest here… hes right, bone one from there and its over the green in a bunker on the far side… in a comp thats your round screwed…

  2. I spend at least 2 hours a day hitting 25 to 30 yard chip shots in my backyard. It has helped my short game so much.

  3. Golfs about what you're comfortable with who cares what other golfers do it's about doing what you're good at period, fuck what everyone else does do you

  4. I wonder if this all comes down to mindset, people avoid shots and get comfortable down at the range, (I think it really helps to put yourself out of that comfort zone and practice the shots you hate in order to feel comfortable)

  5. Take your 9 punch it into the hill using putting stroke takes there chunk out of play and also a putt losing speed to quickly if your short sided. But a 9 should be close or just long never short.
