Kai Trump has posted to social media about her latest golfing adventure with her grandfather, Donald
Kai Trump has enjoyed her latest golfing trip with grandad, Donald, just days after accompanying him to the 2025 Ryder Cup.
The 18-year-old showed up alongside the U.S. President for Tournament Friday at Bethpage Black last week and soon grabbed the attention by geeing up the crowd as they bellowed out chants of “U-S-A” upon their arrival.
What quickly became noticeable, however, was Kai’s proximity to her grandfather throughout the event, leading one body language expert to claim that she looked very much like his “apprentice” as she followed his every move.

The teenager has formed a close bond with her grandfather over their shared love of golf, and that was apparent once more as she ticked off another bucket list moment by traveling with him to watch the Ryder Cup.
However, their golfing exploits didn’t stop there, as Kai took to social media on Monday to post pictures of the pair enjoying a round together at one of President Trump’s many golf courses.
Uploading to her Instagram account, which boasts more than 2 million followers, the 2026 University of Miami commit shared one image of her and the 79-year-old smiling for the camera on the course, and plenty of footage of her showing off her skills.

“Golfing with Grandpa,” Kai captioned the post, alongside an emoji depicting two hands forming a heart shape. She also plugged her brand-new merch line, adding: “Merch available now at kaitrump.shop (link in bio)”
Kai announced the launch of her own clothing brand last week, just a day before she attended the Ryder Cup. As she left the White House to board Air Force One alongside her grandfather, she was spotted wearing her pricey new merchandise – a white KT sweater.
According to her clothing brand’s website, the pricey pullover shirts are already listed for $130 each, and come in white, navy, and black, featuring a simple “KT” logo across the chest and “KAI” written across the back.
Kai, however, is already facing major backlash online for her costly clothing line, with many accusing her of “grifting” like her grandfather, who reportedly rakes in millions from his Trump Store merchandise.

Analysts suspect that the merchandise launch is hinting at an attempt to pursue a career in influencer marketing for Kai, who already boasts more than two million followers on her Instagram page.
She is also predicted to become one of the highest-paid female athletes of all time, due to her growing NIL stock. Earlier this year, sports data site On3 valued the aspiring golfer at a whopping $1.2 million.
At the time, it placed her behind only LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne, LSU basketball player Flau’jae Johnson, and UConn basketball star Paige Bueckers among the top-earning female athletes.
