Could Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton be barred from the 2027 European Ryder Cup Team? #golf #rydercup #rydercup2027 #jonrahm #tyrrellhatton llhatton

John Ram and Till Hatton could be banned from the 2027 Ryder Cup at a dare manner. Now, I know that sounds pretty unthinkable, but let me explain why. We all saw how brilliant both Rahm and Hatton were together, leading from the front in New York. They contributed a total of six and a half points together. Rahm in particular was the standout for the Europeans on those first couple of days. And Till Hatton turned out to be the only unbeaten European player after securing that half point on the Sunday. But some people don’t know that the only reason Ral Manhattan could play at Beth Page in the first place was because of a loophole that allowed them to appeal the fines that the DP World Tour had given them for playing in different live golf events. The hope is that that appeal will be heard pretty soon and the precedent set a couple of years ago when a lot of L players appealed their fines from the DP while tour showed that the likelihood is that Ramman Hatton will lose because an arbitration panel decided that the tour did have every right to to hand out the punishments that they were given to these live players. So if Ram Hatton do actually lose, they will need to pay the outstanding fines to the tour that they’ve incurred for playing on. And as it stood so far, there’s been no indication that those players would be willing to do that. And if they don’t, there’ll be a stalemate where both Ram and Hatton won’t be eligible to play in the Ryder Cup in 2027. I’ve gone into a load more detail about this on on the bunker.co.uk UK website. So if you’ve got a few spare minutes, go and check it
