[Music] hey guys welcome to the reuna grill Jamaica uh 2025 I’m just going to take you through here on the remodel it’s absolutely beautiful it was finished in December of 24 uh to the left here is your check-in desk nice and bright super friendly people usually they’ll meet you with a drink the bartenders will walk over as you’re checking in bring you a nice fruity drink of some sort there’s your jamming bar as we called it the lobby bar nice and bright the tile and everything is just beautiful in there plenty of areas to sit down and relax maybe play some dice or cards or some sort of a board game if you want to as you walk out the front here you’re going to see the volleyball pool uh that’s actually an addition there’s three pools out there now we’ll get into that a little later in the video but plenty of chairs plenty of shade plenty of umbrellas and up to the left there you can see now they have those canopies that you can slide back and forth for more shade if you want to here is your activity center for the day that’s to the left of the check-in desk but I highly recommend getting the Ryu app for that it can tell you on the daily basis what’s going on there’s your photo area grab some photographers throughout the day and have them take some photos you don’t have to buy them but they do take nice photos and you can go check those out whenever you feel like you need to and if you want to buy some buy some there’s your souvenir shop um pretty much the same stuff in there there’s your nurses station if you need a Band-Aid or you got cut you needs a minor medical attention that’s the place to go here’s the Renova Spa in gym area uh if you need to get a workout in uh when you’re on vacation there’s plenty of stuff here you’ve got the treadmills litical some free weights dumbbells bench press stairs things like that so there’s plenty of stuff in there to do couple of TVs this was remodeled as well this will keep you nice and uh fit when you’re on vacation because uh we get into the restaurants later and CU we know you’re going to be plenty of food [Music] we’ll get into the restaurants here guys there’s the Green Island Buffet which is kind of in the same spot the footprint of it is a lot smaller but all the same food the steakhous has been moved next door between the Asian place manderlay and the and the Green Island Buffet you can also eat outside there at the steakhous as well um and then of course you have the culinarium here on the end make sure you guys are checking the signs because we did notice that it must be based on occupancy but these close quite often not everything is open every night so if there was one negative I would take away from that it would be that that uh again it must be based on occupancy but not everything was open every single night um so make sure you check the app check that check your reservations um and and make sure that uh you get in where you want to get in when you can get in there because you never know when it’s going to be open the new sports bar is awesome uh it’s much larger than the old one it’s open 24 hours bartenders in there are great it’s kind of got that Americana feel couple of pool tables there uh which we utilized uh when we were there uh watch a little football in there and actually this is a sit down in order now so um good burgers things like that uh very impressed the sports bar the plaza bar has been moved off to the left as you can see there and where the plaza bar used to be is now the DJ stage and where they put the bands prior to the nighttime shows which is really cool as you’re going to see here the swim up bar is uh has been moved over that is awesome the temperature is awesome the bartenders Are Awesome Again plenty of chairs there plenty of shade as you can see you can pull those those shade canopies over the top if you want to if you need to get out of the sun just for a little bit but uh this wasn’t super busy when we were there but it was super nice now the lunch buffet is still here but it’s down on the bottom and the Italian restaurant Luigi’s is now up above there where that’s glassed in so instead of the steakhouse over there that’s now Luigi’s so a couple things they added this year was Pepe’s food The Jerk Chicken Shack is gone off the beach and now you have to go to Pepe but they still have the same delicious um jerk chicken there they have Pepe’s Taco where you can have some chicken or beef tacos make your own nachos and that’s open pretty much all afternoon I don’t remember ever seeing that clo until dinner time then you have the rastamon bar up above this is this is on the back side of the swim up bar as you’ll see here um same bartenders same same friendly bartenders there giving us the thumbs up there’s your swim up bar again uh fully stocked nice stools benches tables all over the place um and again it’s just uh spectacular remodel real quick guys we like to tip with us money they make out on that a little bit better but of course you don’t have to tip because it’s all inclusive getting into the rooms here you’ve got uh you know your queen-sized bed uh here’s your bathrooms fully remodeled shampoo conditioner soap I use all that stuff my wife brings her own here’s your Optics with your coffee and tea maker all your liquor pop soda water in the fridge got American plugins and USB ports to use for all your charging stuff there’s an iron a safe an umbrella and then there is a blow dryer in the room my wife brings her on I see a lot of complaints that it might not be strong enough so if you have Luscious Hair you might want to bring your own blow dryer this is the swim out room here these have been added in multiple buildings they do share the pool uh with your neighbor but there’s nice privacy walls there uh be careful what you’re doing in the pool down below because you will have neighbors above you that can see down below all the rooms are the same the only difference between these is they have a swim out pool otherwise the layout is exactly the same they took away the smoking areas on the beach I can only assume that that’s why they added these in between the buildings that’s just a nice little sitting area if you want to have a smoke or just chill in the shade for a while um but it looks really nice even the Landscaping was redone if you guys want to use some of the activities that are included like the little sail bolts The Kayaks the paddle boards things like that uh you just run into that little brown Shack there scan the QR code and fill out the release form and that also goes with your catamaran rides and your scuba Dives if you decide to do that once you have that release you’re good to go for your entire stay just make sure you stop into that little track there here is kids Ryu land uh not much changed here although the buildings en close a little more the pools are the same you got a couple little water slides there the staff here are amazing with the kids if I had younger kids I would bring them here in a heartbeat some chairs there get out of the sun if you want to hang out with the kids but they always have daily activities for all the kids the kids are always included I’ve never felt like it was over uh you know overcrowded with kids um but they do a the staff just does an absolute amazing job with the kids here let’s talk about the beach this is always kind of a point of contention when you’re on the Facebook page people arguing back and forth yes there is a little bit of seagrass on the beach but as you can see here it’s beautiful it’s clear all the white that you see there is sand and this part of the bay happens to always be calm so if you want to argue at the Ryu Palace or the Ryu N Grill uh this one’s going to be calmer most of the time if you have waves it’s going to be down by the Royalton and here’s an example right here it’s perfectly calm up by the Ryu we walk down by the office of Nature and by the Royalton and that’s how wavy it is and yes our friendly sharks are still on the beach they’re harmless and they’re about 5 ft now so uh that can see them going back and forth in the morning the spot to snorkel is right outside the lifeguard station if you go straight out on the beach you’re going to see that darker coraly area we go snorkeling out past the buoys there sometimes they’ll whistle at you sometimes they won’t but you’re going to see all sorts of starfish and things out there our favorite things to do is to go down the beach and shop at the Huts there we buy all of our souvenirs from the locals here you can get fresh Lobster you can get massages you can Paras sale water ski do a fishing trip um whatever you really want to do there um you can go down and get done um we always walk past the Huts down to the office of nature where usually Donovan is playing live music in the afternoon uh you can see it there where the arrow is and I just kind of want to show you where you’re at compared to 7 Mile Beach so I’m going to bring the Drone up a little bit here if we go to the right um that’s going to be 7 Mile Beach on the other side of that point so it’s about a 5minute cab ride if you want to go down and spend the day on on 7 Mile Beach by Margaritaville Woodstock Micky team and all those all those places you can also take a boat out to boou K there’s that little Island at the top top of your screen there and have a fresh Lobster if you choose if you don’t want to take a b out to boy K you can walk right down to Don Fresh’s Lobster Shop pick a lobster right out of that cage and there’s nothing better than a lobster that was picked out of the water in 25 minutes ago also just a quick reminder that’s your towel shop you can uh get your fresh towels there you can exchange it with your towel card any time of day get fresh towels whenever you need to here’s a look from up above you can see on building three there the swim up pools that were added in front building two there swim up pools don’t forget there’s a really nice quiet pool there in between building number two um there’s your uh bar on the beach there building one and then in front of building one is the kids Ryu land there you’re going to see in the back they added three pickle ball courts and a tennis court uh looks like there’s a couple soccer nets as well there too I did not see any basketball hoops unfortunately here’s a shot of all three pools uh on the right there is the bigger pool uh that’s where the kids can go and hang out have floaties throw stuff around they’re not allowed in the swim up uh bar pool area so keep that in mind but they do have fun activities on both pools uh the kids uh are not allowed to participate in some of the adult activities like the surfboard thing and they they race kayaks and things like that in the afternoon The Nightlife guys the shows and things like that are some of them are still the same here’s the Silver Bird steel drum band which is one of my favorites but my favorite night of all time was the White Knight that rotates weekly between white knight neon knight uh we happened to be on the rotation of the white KN and we had an absolute wonderful time it was so much fun super high energy absolute blast you don’t want to miss this one uh we’ll remember that night for a long time as far as Transportation goes guys uh every time we go there we always use Dewey’s Splendid tours uh a dad raising a couple kids super good guy we’ve been there six or seven times now we use him every single time I would totally trust him with my children in his vehicle he’s always affordable clean cars and he’s always on time you just have to shoot him a message so stay tuned for a little plug for Dewey otherwise
