Women's Golf Finishes Strong At Evie Odom Invitational - FOGOLF

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – North Florida women’s golf finished out its final round in the Evie Odom Invitational hosted by Old Dominion on Saturday afternoon.

The Ospreys were led by redshirt junior Kaitlyn Schroeder in the final round, as well as in the tournament. She scored seven pars and four birdies over her last 13 holes to card 2-under 70 on the day and place second overall in the tournament.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

North Florida had three players (Schroeder, Castaldi, Mansbendel) finish in the top 20.
Schroeder and Castaldi finished second in the field in pars with 39.
Schroeder tallied one birdie on the front nine and three on the back in her final round.
Schroeder finished fourth in the field in birdies with eight.
Castaldi also ranked second in the field in pars with 39.
Castaldi posted one birdie on the front nine followed by 17-straight pars to turn in 1-under 69 in her final round.
Mansbendel notched two birdies on the back nine to cap off a solid final round.
The Ospreys stand in fifth overall in the 12-team field.
