Would appreciate any advice on how to make my backswing position at the top better as my wrist and angle all seem very horizontal. Also my miss right now is a hook and it’s from casting I believe and also closed face + in to out path.

Well it might help to be in an aircraft first.
Tip your waitresses folks
I’m going to focus on the big stuff right now.
You have 3/4s of a solid swing. What I’d like to see is you a little [higher hands](https://imgur.com/OsZbm3f) by allowing your [right elbow to leave your body](https://imgur.com/p4Gu0kF).
The top of your backswing and transition to downswing is [in a similar place to Sergio’s](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/3nadGNg6CfE). However, look how much his trail elbow moves away from his body before he shallows (0:05-0:06), which allows him to square the club face and hit a baby draw.
In contrast, because your trail elbow barely leaves your body you’re very inside to out and closing your face. Get that trail elbow a little more free while still shallowing properly and you’ll likely see that hook settle down.
Your arms finish over half of the backswing before your core starts to rotate right now. There’s no fixing the swing from there.
Start with the basic feels again, this is the best drill for that to me
