[Music] again. Thank you for being here with us and uh first two days of tournament here in Spain. How are you feeling with the city, with the tournament, with the field? Yeah, I mean, this is this is one of the reason I I came back here. I’ve been here a few times and uh you know, I love Madrid um for many reasons. Uh the people, but the food. Um I think the tournaments we’ve had here have always been a great setup. Um the spectators. Um so it was definitely a tournament I was excited to come back and and and play. And um yeah, so far it’s been it’s been a decent couple of days. Uh you are playing both tours now, PGA Tour and DP World Tour. How tough is to combine both? Yeah, it’s been tough, but I mean, you know, I felt this year it’s it’s been a good setup. Um I’ve been over there for about 5 months. Um my wife is Canadian, which makes it a little bit easier. So we spend quite a bit of time in Canada also. Um, and yeah, I mean, I wish I could have played a little bit better. Um, I felt like I’ve had some good tournaments over there and maybe not quite finishing it off on on on Sunday, unfortunately, but I felt like I’ve put myself in some good positions and um, yeah, I was obviously hoping for more, but it’s still been a it’s been a a good season, and I feel like I’ve learned a lot over there. Um um but yeah, it was nice to come back here after being over there for so long. Coming back to Madrid, getting some of the Spanish food. Um seeing I suppose I got I got beautiful among last night actually. So um and a good red wine or not. Uh no, actually not. I didn’t I I got a good glass on Tuesday um with a couple of guys. Yeah, we had a nice bottle of red wine. So um but yeah, it’s uh it’s a nice week. Crazy eight wins in the European tour. Uh if you had the ninth here and with a straight qualification for the Masters and the Open, what’s the what was your thinking about that? Yeah, I mean I’ve I’ve uh I’ve never won in Spain and uh it’s definitely on uh it’s definitely one of my goals. Um yeah, I found out start of the week that I was a a master spot here. I didn’t actually know. Um but yeah, that would obviously be a big bonus. But just, you know, being able to say you won here, um, when one day you finish your career would be, uh, would be very special. Um, so it’s definitely a big goal. Um, you know, that’s tough competition and and it it takes a lot to win. Um, I know that. Um, so um, it’s going to be difficult, but um, at least I’ve put myself in a in a good position after two days, and that’s that’s what you can do. And then um you know hopefully on Sunday you can come down on those last nine holes and have a chance. That’s all that’s all we practice for and all uh all we want is uh you know having a chance to win. That’s it. People love you. Um and they really appreciate your golf. Obviously they’re going to support the Spanish players uh Yon Serio. Having all of them for us is so special having 21 players. Uh and also considering that Spain is going to host the RDER Cup in 2031. Yeah. I mean, it’s great to see like pretty much all the Spanish players is coming here and play. You know, it’s it’s a tough schedule and it’s a busy season. So, to see all the guys come back here and play in the national open is uh is very special and it’s great for the internment. It’s really important that that all those guys play um you know, John and and Sergio Sergio have done so much for Spanish golf and for European golf in in for so many years, right? He was one of my biggest biggest idol and um you know getting to learn him and learn from him and um you know be a be a be a friend of him was was very special and so um yeah so I’d say so thank you so much for being here with us. It’s been top 20 if I’m not wrong in the Irish Open top 20 Danish Open top let’s see what here in the Spanish Open. Let’s hope we can do just a little bit better. We we we’ll see. It’ll be tough, but uh I’m hoping for maybe a little bit better. Thank you so much.
