PHOTOS: 108 Division 1 golfers compete at MHSAA state championship

ALLENDALE, MI— Top girls golfers from around the state descended on the campus of Grand Valley State University for the MHSAA division 1 finals.

The shotgun-style golf tournament got underway at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 at The Meadows, 18-hole course in Allendale.

Day one featured 108 golfers representing 36 high schools competed, with 18 teams and 18 individuals in the field.

After a long day of competition, golfers will return to the fairways on Saturday to compete for the state titles in both team and individual competition
