🏌️♀️Most golfers completely misunderstand rotation in the golf swing. 🚨 I see it every single day in my teaching bay—players try to “fire the hips” like the pros, but end up stuck, early extending and losing all power.
In this lesson, I’ll break down:
✅ Why amateurs fail to rotate like the pros
✅ The #1 reason you’re stuck with poor body movement
✅ How real rotation happens through the ground, not just the hips
✅ A simple way to stay closed longer for massive compression and effortless speed
If you’ve ever wondered why your swing doesn’t look or feel like the pros, this video will change the way you think about body movement forever. 💥

Hip rotation looking like this at impact is the most misunderstood aspect of golf that I see in my teaching bait every day. I just had a student come to me, new person, and I always ask them, you know, what’s going through your mind? What are you trying to do in your golf swing? What are your thoughts? And I hear this so often. He goes, well, I’m trying to get up to here and however you say you got up to the top and then I’m firing my hips just like the pros do. And this is what he showed me. There’s this move just like this. I want you to watch it from this end. What happens? like how do I stop this from happening? Now, some people will maybe like do some weird stuff like this. This is why you s see it get way behind them too and they need to be a little bitter player because they know they can’t have this club out here and they can maybe get away with it a little bit like that. You’re going to have all kinds of low point control issues. So, why is it the most misunderstood part? I think it’s because most amateurs look at their golf swing and they’re either early extending or something like this where they can’t turn. They just have no rotation compared to the pros. Thing is, they don’t understand why, right? So, how does true rotation happen? You got to watch some my longer videos on YouTube to see this. It happens because what we’re doing in the ground by pushing up and back. This is called spinning out. This is not what we’re trying to do. This does nothing for you except cause issues. The pros are the best at keeping everything closed. The longer you can keep things closed in your swing like this, the more rotation you’re going to have as long as you get here and are able to push back. So when I get up here, boom. I look how closed I am when I’m ready to start. So, if I go up here, everything’s closed, right? But what do I get to do now? I’ve come into my lead leg. I’m in my toe. I can push back really hard here. I can throw the club down there and go. I’m a massive rotation through it. So, it happens by what we’re doing in the ground. Thanks for watching.
