Taking place at the historic Delhi Golf Club and co-sanctioned with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the DP World India Championship underscores India’s growing influence as a destination for elite golf. Career Grand Slam winner McIlroy makes his first appearance in India this week with a return to competitive action after helping Europe win the Ryder Cup at Bethpage. With two wins already on the Race to Dubai this season at the Masters Tournament and Amgen Irish Open, the World Number Two will be looking to strengthen his grip on the Race to Dubai title ahead of the DP World Tour Play-Offs. Joining him are Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland and Shane Lowry and Luke Donald. And the flag, that number nine at the back of the green, the flag is just about 15 feet to the left of that. Only seven on the green to have him here. [Music] M following the flight of that ball. That’s where Rory wanted to be for a final dash of color on the scorecard to take the lead on his own at 12 under which he does. Bragging rights belong to Fleetwood. I know how much they’ve enjoyed that three ball the last two days. Scott Jameson back there at seven it seems. playing with a bit of freedom being a forever overpower having had a good week at the Dunhill Links Championship. What’s he got for us here? On you come. Oh, just for a moment. No sign of the board for deep down in the Bermuda rough. And your local man finds a peach. I think he likes the grass. I think he likes the temperature. Slightly uphill shot. Excellent. Little like that. once. Well, he had to, didn’t he? Had about six people in contention. The closing stages in it. It goes for Birdie for Nakajima. None too there at the second with that out of the heavy Bermuda rough to the fourth for Sharma. Is that a good start today? And that’s a kind bounce as well. Maybe today’s the day it’s going to turn round. Much better. Toughest hole he’s faced today as a birdie. Reserve golf. I’ve always just been Howler. I don’t mind that. And Dave sometimes. Dave. Yes. That’s what you think. Yes. Yes. When you weren’t around, David, it’s amazing what we used to call you. Cuso car five first. Yeah, that was on a string. 171 for Holland for his second shot at the fourth. can nearly pick that one up. Not quite, David. Amazing. Amazing shot. Inches from perfect, but a thin beauty from Maroy there. That’s That’s the kind of thing you’ll take on when you’re playing with mates. You know what I mean? But to actually do it in a tournament, that was brilliant. Way more speed in the swing than I was expecting to see. It really was a fabulous shot. Left half picked it out of the middle. Second shot of Kim at the four. Oh, excellent stuff. That was very close to going in for a two. just come off a birdie at the seventh. This is his third shot on the par five. A double bogey and a bogey today which haven’t helped. Oh, that helps though. Three under for the last two puts him to minus six. From this range, these guys are lethal like that. Here is second shot from 161 yds. The flag’s right in the middle of that bunker at the back of the green. Not in it, but on the line with it about there. Fantastic shot. Wouldn’t you just know it? Pretty meeka t-shot. His Griffin and his third eye could be short, but it doesn’t want to move a huge amount. [Music] Very good cut that. Let’s say four for Mroy. 34. Second one of the day. Moves him to four under. What number you got him finishing at the end of the day, Richard? Well, we had I know you and I discussed earlier we had him around about nine under, didn’t we? Yeah. I’ll go eight now where he stands. Right here for his birdie at the five. Rock solid. outside looking in. Oh, but that will help. Catches that right. He knows. Always plays with his heart on his sleeves. Great to see. Throws you lots of curve balls along the way. As for Eagle for Nakajima. Never anywhere else, was it? That one. That’s handy. Liheri hit a nice bunker shot to here. Kind of fat chunk rope. Rolled it out. Should have a little bit of left to right to it. Be a good birdie. Effortless Schaffer for his birdie at the 11th putting into the grain. Quite slow Randy come. Yeah, nicely hold from the youngster. If you jump over to Yay Man that 12 for his birdie another fighting for weekend’s work and threw a good punch there. John Gerak back there. [Music] 174 yds to this flag today. Lebanon four from the right. So an easier pin to get to and go about got nicely close there. It was a miss for Hillier, but in it went for Jim Gerach. So, he’s up to four under par now. He’s got a couple of fars. Well, 18th is the last one, but east the hole before this one where Lton is second shot on its way. 341 yds. Another excellent pretty bad, isn’t it? It was pretty a pretty good chance he’ll find the birdie three. [Applause] Just enough. Yeah, top lift. It’s a welltimed birdie three for Mroy. How aggressive do you be? False front. Make sure you negotiate the ball over that. That’s as good as we’ve seen. T-shot. Great angle into this left hole location. Only three off the left fringe, but taking dead aim. That’s the 12th green through his own shadow. Disconcerting on the short putts, but made not a jot of difference on that occasion. Just popping. So difficult. Makes it look easy. Beautifully done. Well, causing him to do plenty of thinking, but the execution in the end was truly excellent. [Applause] A right to left. Well done. That was very good. [Applause] Pinpoint final part of the day hopefully for all. So it proves couple of good days work happy with himself. 6867. There’s more to come and it comes from Victor Hogland. Unfortunately be one under which is going to be just short I think. And he has as well. Oh. Oh, that could be quite sickening for lad. Just a smooth night eye. [Applause] Mroy on train tracks for the world number two and he has caught fire here in the latter stages of the back nine. Come on. Never anywhere else. Here he goes. Two over through the first seven and since then he’s five under. Nice to dump. Okay, so this one to go into the weekend four under. Good F. Well done. Excellent stuff. 66 for him today. No drop shots. 33 the front line. 33 the back. You know it makes sense. Little bastards watching you. Gra got it. The final birdie attempt. Yeah, good finish. Four birdies in the last six holes. And he’s made a birdie on the final hole. Excellent stuff. So that all adds up to 68 in the end. 268s for Griffin. Tommy, brilliant round out there today. You’re eyeing Shane over there who’s saying that he’s close to you. Um, tell me a little bit about your day. What were you most pleased with out there? I played better than yesterday. I think um like definitely towards the end of the round yesterday, I felt like my swing course does that to you. Like I think the course makes you like you end up being a bit guidy. Um and and you know, I wasn’t happy with how I hit it towards the end yesterday. I hit some balls afterwards and I just felt like today uh swing was in a better place. Sequencing was better. I hit it in the fairway a lot today and uh from there just gave myself, you know, the chance to hit some nice irons in and put it well as well for the second day in a row. So, uh, I don’t know. It’s easy to talk about how many things you did well when you shot a hit under, but yeah, it was just a really good round of golf. Uh, interesting. I want to go on to like the response that you had from yesterday. What was that process like for you when you analyzed your round yesterday ahead of coming out there today? Whether that was mentally or something that you did physically? Well, stuff that I do wrong with my swing or when it sort of goes off, it’s always something like one of a few things. So I like I can generally get a decent sense of it and and and then go ahead and work on it. So uh I just felt like I want to hit some balls, put like you know do the drills that I always do and try and get myself back to where I felt like I’d give myself a good chance of hitting a golf shot. So yeah, the range actually closed at 5:30, so I didn’t get much time, but I got enough. You definitely did get enough. Everything looks and sounds like it’s on track in terms of the game, but tell me a little bit about um your review of the golf course so far and what your feelings are towards it. It’s great. We spoke about it quite a bit out there. Um it’s just it’s just such a unique challenge I think for all of us. I think um you know I haven’t hit more than a fivewood. Like the the one hole where I’d hit more is like 18. But then you get to that and you’re like well I haven’t hit one like I haven’t hit a mini driver or whatever and I’m like well I don’t really feel that comfortable with it. So it’s just such a unique challenge and I think the greens are firming out a bit. The pins have been tricky. Um and yeah it’s it’s been very very enjoyable. It’s like a test of patience when you’re not quite on it. Um because like it’s one of those courses I think you get a few of them where you feel because if you hit it good off the tea you’re going to have some short irons and wedges instantly feel like you’ve had you’ve always got like a chance of you have always got a chance of going on a run but it’s it’s s such a waiting game out there and you got to be very patient and you’ve got to play very well. So um it’s been a great test. And just finally a quick word on the group that you were in. Shane is standing five yards away from you. So just be careful what you say here. But he said yesterday that now it’s okay. He said yesterday. He just said that he has no chance against you this again. But he did say yesterday um what a nice group that it was and what a difference that that made to the experience out here competing. Do you feel similar? Yeah, unbelievable three ball. I think just because you’re so comfortable with each other, you do your own thing. Um yeah, I mean like just it’s always like a bonus when you’re with two guys that you’re really close with. Um, so yeah, like I saw the draw or Shane actually told me about the draw and I was I was really pleased and uh it has been a it has been a great two days and uh I feel like I’ve been playing with Shane for like the next two days I’ll be doing something right probably. There we go. I’ll reverse it. I’ll reverse it. Brilliant. Thanks, Tommy. Well done at this To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. And to subscribe, click here.

Such a lovely course and great comeback from Fleetwood!
I love honking sounds in background 😂
Tommy's switch up at 13:12 scared me…
Is Rory still having an affair behind his wife's back😂
hope Tommy & Shane to perform 👏 Rory to catch up 💪
Fleetwood the leader we only see his first shot on the 17th. What's the point?
No he's not having an affair behind his wife's back. He doesn't have your sinful habits.
Saw two shots from Fleetwood, who shot 64 and now leads.
1 fleetwood clip after going -8 is crazy
Whoever edits the highlight video needs to lay off the wacky backy 😅
1 clip of Tommy after scoring a 64 is outrageous.
Come on Tommy ❤
Come on Shawn ❤
When i first read India, i thought there's no way there's a quiet enough place with a course. Few minutes in and yeah, just honking and traffic noise.
