[Music] Well, good morning everybody and welcome to another Sunday morning show. It seems like every Sunday morning there is a fresh box that arrives in the studio here. And today, well, I’ve got something which is going to help with the editing side of stuff because in this box I have a new laptop. And the reason why I’ve got a new laptop is because Joe is having my old laptop and I can’t wait to be working with someone with a bit more speed. So, I brought Joe in because uh Joe’s going to be helping out a lot more behind the scenes when it comes to In fact, have you been on any videos yet? Uh, I think we did a coaching one together. Oh, we did a coaching one. That’s right. We did do a coaching one. But I wanted to introduce you to Joe because it’s kind of the fresh start, isn’t it? We’re going some new adventures going on down the road. Um, and that’s why we’ve had to put a new laptop in. Well, to celebrate the fact that I’m introducing Joe to you, I thought we would do something a little bit different today. A little bit of a challenge for the Sunday morning show. Now, it takes 48 hours to go through the whole process. if you want to do it. So, it means that you can kind of come and go as you please, depending on what facilities that you’re going to, and you can have a little flutter for yourself. I’m going to put down a little code for you as well, which is what I’ve used to go on to the actual championship itself. But, we’re going to go into the studio and see how we get on. So, let’s head down there now and see if we can get that ultimate drive hole in one. This is where my dodgy arm comes into it. Oh, why do you have to follow it? It’s my better side, isn’t it? The other side’s your better side. at the back of you. This bit here. Right. So, we’ve made our way into the studio. We have got the got it set up. Bernie’s here cuz he wasn’t here in the office. So, he’s joined us because I don’t know if you’re going to be able to do this. I’m going to have a go. When you mentioned the money was involved, I was straight down there. I talked to him for this. So, have you ever done cuz they used to do like holein-one challenges? I think in fact when you used to work at the range down in Paintton, did was there not a hole-in-one challenge opportunity down there? It was before I um started, but I used to do um close to the pin all week. You had to buy the balls and whoever got the closest then had an opportunity if they wanted to rather than take the cash, they got like five balls and if they hold it, they won a car. But I don’t think anybody really went for it and just took the money and man. Well, I think this is quite cool because obviously you can do it in studios, home studios if you’ve got it at home, which would be rare, but ultimately some people do have it. And then you can go to a driving range and these modern driving ranges, we’ve got obviously Trackman ranges. We’ve got top tracer ranges. You can set yourself up. You got 48 hour hours to do the check. I know we haven’t got 48 hours to get an hour. That’s it. And you But but I actually feel that we only need an hour, Bernie, to get this done to be honest with you. Got to hit it 220 yards. We’ve got it set the hole at 230. So what that means that we need to make sure we hit it to 220. So, it won’t go in and we won’t see it go in, but it’s got to stay on the line at exactly 220 yards. That’s what we’re doing. You make it sound so easy. And I I I feel I feel that as this is um as this is kind of Is this your this this is your first time on the Sunday morning show? On the Sunday morning show. Okay. So, as this is Joe’s first, I feel like Joe should just lead us, you know? He should be really a big responsibility. Well, you pick your club and off you go. before the shovel. There you go. So you’re basically like the club I would say you’re like a four four yard four yard square out. I think I’m done with That’s not bad. Do anything different this time. Joe, um I think I genuinely think I have to take a bit off. I didn’t quite strike the last one. It was like 225. So big boy. Here we go. Let’s see what See what it brings. more that one. Criy was like a putt, wasn’t it? Probably good for yardage to be a little bit offline at 2:15 total. Do you know what I like about this game already? I mean, I know it’s like afternoon and we’re doing this in in our work time. But when there’s when this is kind of like a bit of a game and a bit of fun, you can’t really call what we do work done. Let’s be honest. No, I know, but it’s work time, isn’t it? It’s like you should really be working. Um, you could chill out, have a couple of beers and off you go. Bit right. I reckon that’s good for yardage though. Carrying around 200. Yeah, I think when you Yeah, that’s good for yardage. Look, 18 19 yard off. That’s pretty good though. Not bad. So, I’ve been doing a video recently which will be coming out in the next few weeks and we we’ve actually been filming this week the actual break pass series of it. But I’ve brought out the old Mazuno TZoid 3wood cuz I reckon this one goes about 220 or did back in the day. I’ve got a feeling every single one of your clubs like fairwood would go 220. 220. Yeah, the driver’s close to that as well, isn’t it? Oh, hello. That’s got a chance that cut a bit more. It’s not, is it? Cut a bit more. I mean, this is 212, so I can I know I can give it a little bit more next time, but that’s um Yeah, just comes out a little bit lower. And feel free, Bernie. I mean, were you ever a teasoid player? No. Did you ever? I’ve never I’ll be honest with you, I’ve never really been a Mazuno player. I never I mean, I like the irons in the back in the day when Tiger was using them and with various disguises on them, but I never never really bothered Mazuno. I was Oh, you mean Mazuno irons he used, didn’t he? Yeah, using Mazuna iron, but I wasn’t never really a Mazuna fanboy. Anything to report from the Sunday morning show then, Burns? I know it doesn’t happen very often win on an American soil, but I just I had that feeling to start with, but since I’ve been seeing a lot of the clips, a lot of the media stuff and how the American team seem to be quite together and they seem to be getting on better than I’ve ever seen. Whether that’s just the press making it seem that way to to g them up or whatever or motivation, a bit of motivation, but I’m a little bit more not worried, but I feel like it’s going to be a close match and the Americans look up for this and yeah, I just I think I think America going to shade it now. So, I’ve changed what I was thinking about myself. What do I think, Bernie? Yeah. What do you think about? I think that I just think it’s so hard to win away for these guys and there’s not there’s I think what is it 30 I think they said like only 37 European players have have experience winning away. Yeah. Um you know but with all with all like fairness quite a a bit of a lump of of the players that play have won it. Madina Rose was there. Um Rory was there. We had Luke Donald was obviously there. Yeah. Um I don’t know who else was in the um you know, was Alex Nin involved in that one. I’m not sure he got He was definitely in Paris, wasn’t he? Um, but I think the fact that it’s in New York and all those rowdy American fans, I think we’re going to I think they’re going to have, you know, a huge backing and and the American team is top as well. I mean, if I could just get this just to drift to the right. I’ve got the I feel like I’ve got the start location right. It’s just not drifting. If it does drift, it will get I’ll get the yardage up right as well. Cut then it literally they’re on. You can chuck a blanket over the last four shots. So you what have you done to the five? You lifted it up. And also tell me tell me Bernie, what have you done with the grip? What’s going on with the grip on this one at the moment? Okay, so I’ve made a second setup. Yeah. That I can use at the moment. I’m struggling at the moment to clench my fist properly with particularly that finger. So almost that’s as far as it goes. So just by having a thicker grip, I’m able to sort of wrap my fingers around it without feeling much pain. And to be honest, it feels okay hitting off I mean hitting off a mat with a wood. Don’t know what it be like if I was striking an iron slightly more steeper swing at it. Yeah. Release your swinging. But yeah, which and the distance is okay. I’ve not really lost much. Probably lost like 5 yards. Yeah. No, you’re happy with that. It’s just an experimental set really. I didn’t want to do it to my actual clubs. That’s why I borrowed this fiberboard off you and a couple other clubs have borrowed but just in case it was no good and I have to take all the grips off. So, it’s just having a an additional set that I can sort of get around at the moment. Hopefully, I’ll get back to some other sets once I get this under control. Take it on.
