Get in, kids. We’re going to Puttery. Located in the Meatacking District, Puttery is an immersive mini golf experience. You have the choice of doing one or both courses. For a single course, it’s $25 and for two courses, it’s $40. There are four bars on site, and you’re able to order drinks as you play. They also serve brunch and then sharable plates. Think bar food. I must warn you, this gets highly competitive. Rather than traditional scorecards and pencils, they have digital screens. For each course, you get six attempts. Some of us needed more than that. As the courses progress, they get more and more difficult. Shout out to the instructor that came over and gave me some pointers. Your girl was stressed. You see how I listen and follow directions. Very cutesy, very mindful, very demure. The art museum course was really stressing me out. I kind of wish we chose the ski lodge. Towards the end, we really just started freestyling. If you’re looking for a way to show your friends that golf is not just a boring sport for retired men, this is a good gateway.
