There’s the point that gets Yep. draws that kind of response. [Applause] [Music] 15. Come on. There’s the pull away. Mahhatch quickly forward to take it on the fly. That was and great reflex volley. He’s [Applause] [Applause] And the finish mark. 3 seconds to learn. 76 62 61. Yeah, that was a performance worthy.

  1. Machac is resistant to hard, fast groundstrokes which requires you to be able to hit winners as much as possible to get a victory over him

  2. When Fonseca came on tour, he was all focus and power. He didn't grunt, or only naturally. Since he started extending the grunt for crowd amusement or opponent confusion, the focus seems to be gone. I hope he can return to his earlier form. It suited him better on all levels.

  3. I mean. The reason people think Fonseca is overhyped is because his bottom and average is low low. His top is decently high but only about an 8 to the best players. He doesn’t have enough in many areas to hang with many players

  4. Machac is a very solid player – his performance in grand Slams need to be seen 😇🤔

  5. Machac lo machacó jejeje, Machac no es un jugador corriente, estaba lesionado pero le ha ganado a Alcaraz y a muchos top players, pensaron que Fonseca le iba a ganar fácil jejeje

  6. Fonseca footwork, movement and point construction really need work. Still quite far ways from the level everyone claims he is at

  7. Fonseca just isn't physically ready yet. Needs to work on his speed and endurance.

  8. Baby Fonseca was properly humbled.
He needs to slow down with the shouting, yelling and fist pumping.
The fake hype the mass media created will eat him alive

  9. Fonseca está muy inflado…es cierto que es muy joven y tiene mucha capacidad de mejora, pero ahora mismo está muy sobrevalorado.

  10. machac is such an exciting player to watch – there's flashiness but none of the sounds and loud celebrations.

  11. Is no one else seeing the ball disappear in this video? Put playback speed at .25 and start the video for the first point shown. Watch the ball. It appears and disappears.

  12. Tomas machacs deserves to be more well known. The guy is a freak and has dropped down rankings just because of injuries. Now he is fit and healthy and might win his first grand slam!!!

  13. Can anyone explain to me why Fonseca is getting so much hate/negative comments? I know he gets a lot of attention from the media but he IS a great prospect to being a top 3 player right? Alongside with Mensik I think he is the player with the most potential.

For this match he is playing against the #21 in the world. Why is he expected to win by the haters/negative talkers? I cant find a match where Fonseca lost to a lower ranked player who is also younger or less experienced before he lost to Atmane in Cincinatti and Atmane was on a big impressive run there so you cant blame the guy.

  14. i dont understand how machac isnt in top 10 at least , he can beat easily alcaraz or siner too if he play like this, maybe it was injured or something.
