From deep in the jungle, Patrick Reed pulls off the impossible. It’s round one of the 2021 Butterfield Bermuda Championship. After a weward T-shot on the par 517th, Reed finds his ball buried in the vines, completely unplayable. He takes a penalty drop next to the cart path with absolutely no clear line to the green. The gallery watches quietly, expecting only damage control. Got a pretty happy left foot when he swings. But Reed takes a deep breath, swings confidently, and somehow the ball flies, lands, and drops straight into the hole. An unbelievable eagle from a hopeless lie. Even Reed couldn’t believe it himself.
