President Trump has been hit with some “embarrassing” news on one of his beloved golf courses.
The President of the United States, who took office for the second time in January, owns several prestigious golf courses around the world. President Trump, 79, owns three prominent golf clubs in the United States, with one in Pennsylvania, one in Virginia and one in Florida. He also owns several prominent courses in the United Kingdom.
Unfortunately, one of those courses does not appear to be doing well. One of Trump’s beloved courses has posted a 13th straight year of operating at a financial loss.

President Trump’s operation in Scotland posted a significant loss this year.
The course, Trump International Golf Club Scotland Ltd., reported a full-year loss of around $1.17 million. That number is down from $1.83 million the year before, according to Bloomberg.
It’s reportedly the 13th straight year of operating in the red.
Revenue at the course, meanwhile, was up to $5.5 million. It was up about $800,000, thanks to tournament play and marketing efforts. “We expect [this] will help to deliver continued revenue growth in 2025 and beyond,” course directors said in their strategic report.
President Trump’s golf course business, which is help run by his son, Eric Trump, is growing. Earlier this year, President Trump opened a second course in Scotland, named after his mother.
Trump International Golf Club Scotland Ltd. said that they decided the company had “made further investments in the expansion of its world-class facilities as part of its long-term strategic growth.”
Despite operating at a loss, Eric Trump remains confident in the vision moving forward.
“Ownership remains steadfastly committed to their vision for the property and confidently foresees a positive fiscal improvement as the impact of the investment activities flow through,” he told Bloomberg.
President Trump has previously called his Scotland course his favorite in the world. He visits it a lot.
“It’s very tough to compete with what we have in Scotland,” President Trump told his granddaughter, Kai Trump, during a round of golf video that was posted on the 18-year-old’s YouTube account.
President Trump purchased the Scotland golf course in the early 2010s and it has operated at a loss every year since.
President Trump doesn’t seem to be worried about the results, though, as he’s continued to expand his business.
