Paced by two stellar juniors, the Norskies improved on last year’s 6th-place finish.

And state champions were crowned today in girls golf. Pton Halen of Brookfield East was the individual medalist in division 1, crushing the competition with a championship record 12 under par. Divine Savior Holy Angels won the D1 team title. And one program notched its best ever finish at state. That was Deforest in third. It’s awesome. I’m super proud of this team. I knew we were always capable of it and it’s really cool to see it all come together here. I mean, I’m I’m so proud of us. I I mean, they’re like my best friends and I just love playing with them. So, it was really cool to come out and do really well. So, the Norskis were third. Brookfield East earned runner-up honors while powerhouse Middleton was fourth, five strokes behind DeForest. Arrowhead rounded out the top five. And over in division two, it was Spooner taking the state title with Edertton grabbing the runner-up trophy. Wisconsin Dells also snuck into the top five, shooting 762.
