I’d struggled, struggled, struggled. Brad Faxton, who I’d worked with on my putting before, he texted me out of the blue and he said, “Lucas, have you thought about the long putter?” And I said, “You know, Brad, I haven’t.” And he says, “Why don’t you order some long ones, too?” He said, “I think that might help.” So, I did. I thought about who have I seen putt nice with the long putter that kind of looks like me. And Adam Scott came to mind. So, got my manager in touch with Lab Golf and said, “Just send me Adam’s putter.” He says, “What do you mean? What kind of specs?” I said, “No, no, no, no specs. I don’t want to know anything. just send me Adam’s puppet. So that’s what I started trying and had two weeks off and spent a lot of time in my garage in front of a mirror and I just tried to stand there like Adam. Honestly, didn’t know any better. I didn’t want to know anything. I just wanted to kind of figure it out and make it look like Adam cuz his looked really good. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was rewiring my brain for a different skill.
