This Foresight Sports GC2 “Game Changer” Launch Monitor was given to me, and while I don’t know much about golf simulation equipment, I wanted to see what it’s worth.

I found a replacement power cord, plugged it in, and confirmed that the unit powers on and the display works.

The GC2 is still a great launch monitor – very accurate. The only downfall is that it’s now obsolete and has been replaced by the GC3 or QC Quad / QuadMAX.

I sold my GC2 at the beginning of the year and got £1200 for it (boxed, manual, power brick, carry case, spare unused flash and protective shield). It was £6500 when I bought it over 10 years ago.

Although it’s still a great unit, it’s value has been lowered significantly by cheap launch monitors flooding the market. Why pay £1000 for a 10 year old GC2, when you can have a brand new Square for about £700 or a Mevo 2 for about £1100. The GC2 is technically better – just old.

In answer to the original question… in decent condition and good working order, probably about £1000.

Yeah not sure i would recommend anyone buy one at this point. I still have one. It’s great, but zero support end of life product. Can’t recommend to people. Great to use if given one though.

It can still be used with gspro as well.

Anyone looking to buy one at this point would probably be another GC2 owner looking for parts.

Wish they would keep support up for it. I would have gotten one myself but not sure if anything goes wrong that I’ll be able to fix it myself.
